I didn't think there could be a replacement for Carson. He retired when I was in the navy, I was lost for anything to watch at night. After 4 marriages, and to many years later. Graig Ferguson came on the scene, just in time for an unwelcomed forced retirement. Now Graig lasted longer than any of my ex-wives but it was still way to short, and now I'm looking for a replacement to Carson, Ferguson, or even Jack Parr, I don't hold out much hope though. Maybe in our next lifetime we will catch up with Jack, Johnny, and Graig and through back a few at the local watering hole.

She's so freakin' adorable it's almost painful. Dax Shepard is one lucky guy.

I think he is super lucky, oh man no name actor with such a star, and humble human being at the same time. He probably is a really good guy i suppose. I moderately proud of myself for recognizing the hilarious genius of this show when I was in junior high and stayed up to watch it when I should have been sleeping for school. I really wish he was still on the air

The start, w/ her & him in front of the camera, and @ 4:03, when she walks by saying "Hi Jeff" in a tone, is why I like her so much.

Probably the most entertaining and funny moment in the history of late night shows. Probably because it's not an interview, they're just having a great time together!

The moment Craig said "I'm looking into their SOULS, Kristen." the look on her face dramatically changed as though she was also looking into the souls of the viewers. Okay, I 'get it', it wasn't a magical experience for her... but it felt like that for me. That's called "acting".

I love Kristen Bell, but Michael Franti is one of my favorite people. I'm definitely biased toward him cause I went to a lot of his shows when I was a kid; and I suppose I would know the songs they featured. Imo he rocked it at the end there tho.

I just love her sense of humor. God she would be fun.

Kristen Bell and Robin Williams were the guests that had the best chemistry with Craig, in my opinion. They could have just cycled through Kristen, Robin, Saget, Gillian, Kat Dennings, Jim Parsons, Elijah Wood, and Joel McHale endlessly and the interview would somehow be great every time 😂

He worked for letterman. Letterman owned the time slot and cbs didnt care about what he did, so he went nuts. He won multipe peabodies and other major non "industry awards". I think he stopped because he wouldn't have the same freedom if he worked for the network.

I've seen this episode so many times, they are so great together
