Craig Ferguson - The Roof Leak Episode (& Raffle)

It's a hilarious disaster when the studio's ongoing roof leak gets out of control, and Craig unleashes a non-stop barrage of riffs and wisecracks. Here is the entire episode (with Garry Shandling and magician Ed Alonzo), along with the follow-up "raffle" of Leather Boy/Günter (Chris Saladin) a few months later.
Note: It wasn't just the stage area ceiling that leaked. I attended a taping when audience members had to be moved because they were being lightly dripped on. ROFL!

I just love the way his voice squeaks and breaks when he's angry. ;-)

Craig is such comedy gold. This was as hilarious as the one with no lights, the reason he's such a genius. Also readin the comment about his first show back in the new studio is with kristen bell got me excited.

Dear god is that the magician that was in Saved by the Bell for 5 minutes? No wonder he got canned! Love everything Craig does in this episode. As much as i love Geoff, i did love the shows when Craig would just talk bollocks to the audience for half of the show.

I love these old clips. Craig is so good at just running with a subject and being hilarious on his own. I feel sad at the way the show is set up today with Geoff and Craig attched at the hip in each segment, because this type of Craig tour de force can't happen. He'd be less than one minute into his rant when he'd feel obliged to bring Geoff in, and the whole thing would be derailed before it ever got started. I can't magine how many great moments like this we're missing now because of it.
