Hi Paul, great vid...top location! A little question...where did you get those yellow tent stakes? Looked online and can't find them anywhere...really want some of them! That down duvet looks seriously snug. Cheers, Dave.

Your "Leave no trace" message is very admirable, sadly in my experience there are a lot of people visiting the Lakes who regard such a message as non applicable to them. I live up here and regularly walk the hills with my wife, we always take a rubbish bag and bring it home with other people's rubbish in it. We draw the line at bringing home excrement, but never leave any!

I am really enjoying your vlogs, Paul. Love your sense of humour, your interest in gear and your good taste in beer! I was born in Scotland but have lived in Melbourne for a very long time. We are just getting out of the world's strictest lockdown so have not been able to go anywhere for months. Our travel limit was increased today from 5km to 25km which does not even get you out of the burbs! Good news is that Covid-19 is virtually under control so should be able to get out walking again soon. Luckily we live near parks and the beach so go out every day with the camera taking bird photos. Missed the whole cross country ski season alas!

Them stakes looks like there come in very useful for winter. I was looking getting that tent myself. Looks like it could handle a good amount of wind and lot space for a winter camp. Been up down past sprinkle tarn must been many times of the years in the past but i have never camped there. I have always camped up at the Near by Angle tarn on the way from Great Lansdale then past Sprinkle tarn. That area lakes has always been busy even in winter i remember night walking past Angle tarn in deep snow and i met group from the RAF training in the snow and i am sure there camping at Angle tarn as well must been over ten years ago now. I been thinking going lakes again soon missing the mountains seeing your vids mate. Richard
