बचपन मे मेरी माँ ने जब मुजे पहली बार TV देखते हुए बताया की, " बेटा ये महान गायिका लता जी है। इनकी आवाज बहुत ही प्यारी हैं। इनके जैसी गायिका संसार में ओर कोई ना होगी। " लेकिन सूर के साथ-साथ मुजे लता जी के स्वभाव में एक माँ नज़र आती हैं। क्योंकि जब मैं इस महान विभूति को देखता था तो गहरी सोच में पड़ जाता था कि इतना सम्मान, धन, संपत्ति और पूरे विश्व में पहचान होते हुए भी इतने शांत, मिलनसार, सदा हसते हुए और ना कोई घमंड। मैंने अपने जीवन ऐसे व्यक्ति नहीं देखे। बहुत दुःख है कि, एक माँ के जैसा मृदु हास्य वाला और बिना छल-कपट वाला ये प्यारा चेहरा अब देखने को नहीं मिलेगा। 😢

How greatful and lucky we should consider ourselves by hearing and listening to this most humble and down to earth singing artist who had accompanied us all for many decades. Lataji had honestly left an immense treasure behind for many generations to come. She is an Institution of the entire world. Her ability of singing was just amazing and so heart touching. RIP. Phool gulistan mein khil rahein hain, bharsat aaye gee aur chali jaaye gee magar Lataji kabhi wapas nahin laut kar aaye gee. Ab chand aur sitaare be udaas baitein hain keh wo kab murdkar aaye gee.
