I can say from experience it was a 'fuck it' situation. Pandemic had sales UP! Everyone was stuck at home.

@James true that. And also to add: a lot of people seem to be afraid to be alone so much so that they'd rather be in a relationship they don't like than be alone

Female alcoholism in the US has *skyrocketed* over 20 years. We act like it's a cute meme. Replace the wine with a beer or a Manhattan in the morning and suddenly it's way sadder.

Is that true? My grandma kept box wine everywhere and ordered Rose at Chuck E Cheese to keep her going. I kinda thought moms always drank.

@@BuildinWings It's a plant, it's organic, it's made of carbon. When you burn it, it produces CO that goes into your lungs. CO isn't a friendly gas. Whatever plant we are talking about.
