This is what our grandfathers experience in WW2 now I understand how scary it is.

For anyone who is a modern war history buff and is older (I am late 30's), you know how ridiculously hard it is to ever find any TRUE combat footage, footage of front line combat. Almost none of it existed... until like the last 5-10 years. It's crazy how we went from true front line footage being pretty hard to find, to wars being broadcast on the internet in first person, in like 5-10 years, after like 100 years of the former.

yh it's crazy although they blurred it out mostly u still see people get killed like around 35:00 mins in watched that 1 guy get shot in the back of the head (Instantly reminded me when i saw a video of Russians saying they gave us airsoft helmets and vests) and then the other guy in the back that they forgot to blur out. It does open your eyes to see what combat is really like and how brutal it really is.

I think the buddy didn't fake surrender. I think there were two dugouts very close together. One guy from one dugout was crawling out (to surrender? and got killed? by the Russian grenade?) and one guy from the other dugout (probably not knowing how close the AFU were) popped out at the same time, tossed grenade and was shot immediately. After that (lots of video editing so we don't know if it was seconds or minutes later), a second guy from the second dugout (who now realized he was surrounded) surrendered and moved off camera. I could be wrong though.

Im a first generation American ukranian. Most of my family live on the outskirts of Kiev or inside Kiev. It's heart breaking to see even russians lose thier lives. These people had family's. One of the craziest things about this war is how Zelensky sleeps in a great bed every night, eating the best food every day, travelling around with his wife and the rest of his family while these people sit in trenches losing limbs. His daughter is old enough to be serving with the rest of the 19 year old girls. Doesn't he support the IDF too? well the IDF has 19 year old girls in battle.

Firstly, because I am from Yemen and I saw many wars with my own eyes, then I participated in them. We were fighting the enemy and getting close to it, and it was getting close to us to the point that if you saw us, you would say, “These are crazy people.” We were clashing with the enemy from a distance where we could exchange insults with the enemy and hear them and they hear us. A lot of U.S combat veterans from Iraq, Afghanistan, and even Syria have said that fighting in Ukraine is so much worse. I can't imagine what these brave men are going through this looks even more terrifying than the trenches of WW1

It's not. WW was full of carpet bombing at every km. Also, no drones, you had to jump out, run in whatever given position, and hope it's not you that get caught in the suppressing fire, mine, or shells. I don't see this there. Oh, no armor also.

Can anyone explain what happened in the APC at 20:45 ? I can't re-watch that. It seamed like they got shot up when the gate was put down and someone fell and got backed over... Then when the door was back up there is another explosion

I think they had to close the ramp because the shots towards the APC were too much. Seconds later it seems that they hit the vehicle with some weapon with HEAT ammunition, maybe an RPG.

I used to think I was a tough person and that I could deal with war if I needed to but these guys possess a bravery that I don't think I have. This is terrifying to watch much less live

it’s extremely hard to go to war, but when you have friends and comrades you’re fighting with and your family back home or even lost them to Russian air strikes, you have something to fight for. Trust your training and your comrades and fight to your last breath. That’s what it means to be a solider. Bravery is not something you are born with, it’s a mentality that sometimes is forced upon you. These men and women in Ukraine don’t have a choice. Just like you wouldn’t if we were invaded.

Ну вот только к сожалению такие видосы часто используются как пропаганда. Показывают один метр успеха на одном фронте, чтобы закрыть видимости с километрами провала на других участках. Фронт вокруг Авдеевки каждый день меняется и почему то командование ВСУ ради сохранения медийной повестки рискует жизнями сотнями ребят на передовой которые уже находятся в полу окружении.

Its just so hard to comprehend how bitter someone must be that if they are stuck in a dugout, and have already fought hard and bravely. That they will still do something what is practically suicide. I, probably along with most people here, would surrender immediately when its clear that whatever move you make its your last. But that just shows how different their situation is and how we cant really understand.

Scared of being murdered - or worse - if they surrender. Some will be propaganda imprinted into them from the higher echelons, to get them not to surrender. But a BBC film released a couple of weeks ago (embedded crew in a Ukrainian infantry battalion) called something like "The Enemy in the Forest" shows a few injured/abandoned Russian troops being murdered on camera. Another patrol comes back with 2 Russians who've surrendered and an officer says, straight to camera that if he'd been on the patrol they wouldn't be bringing back any prisoners. Plenty of talk from Ukrainian soldiers about how they don't see the Russians as real people (I'm not joking btw). The unit medic - when asked if she'd treat Russian wounded prisoners eventually says that she guesses she would.

Watched this from my little home in Germany. This was crazy, shocking and horrible to watch. My eyes were glued to the screen the whole video and I was scared watching this stuff. I'm not a fighter and it brings tears to my eyes to know that everyone of these guys have someone out there who loves them. A mother, wife or girl who is crying their eyes out, cause they could'nt come back or a little baby which one maybe never meet their father. War is pure horror.

Да, война это ужас. И она так долго идёт, потому, что Украина одна в ней воюет. Да есть помощь оружием от Европы, от Британии, от США, и даже есть около 3500 бойцов в разных батальонах иностранных комбатантов. Но нет главного - решающего преимущества. А это в 3 раза больше всего что есть у врага , а лучше в 6 раз. Тогда это решающее преимущество закончит войну за считанные месяцы. Но и этого мало, нужно полное эмбарго на основные экспортные товары РФ. Полное! Решающее и без поворотное Иначе далее война будет в Европе. Далее по миру. Далее всё страшнее и разрушительнее. Вы не можете в мире понять с какими людоедами мы имеем дело.

Тяжко это всё с обеих сторон. Не знаю, зачем и кому это нужно.

I thought this. There was a bit at the beginning where they were advancing and were excited. I realized they had moved into a totally different mind than a normal man. They are warriors. And the word "warrior" is taken more lightly than i feel people understand. This video provides proof of what it's truly like to run towards certain death while laughing

все сибирское болото с вас ржет вы же перемогаете! как так получилось то что вас было 40млн половина из которых мужики вы же сами так считали что уехали только бабы и дети и вроде как миллион всу на фронте а воевать вдруг некому и тянут даже калек и инвалидов и нужно еще 500тыс, а где же тогда те 2 миллиона делись которых призвали с 2022г ? они что все на ротацию что ли собрались мм? ни у кого нигде ничо не екнет о том что ротация это только для тех кто на нуле , и никто не собирается никого демобилизовать! это же идиотизм , демобилизовать опытного 10летнего закаленого рэмбо ! а весь украинский опыт вдруг не вмещается в курс молодого бойца нескольких дней это как так то ? забрехался кое кто в едином марафоне и прочих сми , заткнули дыры мясом и по всему прочему выходит что и оружия и людей в россии больше но потери как вам говорят в вашу пользу ток доказов нема кроме брехни про мясные штурмы русских которые не один бпла снять не может почему то где эти поля усеянные русскими ? кто их видал роман свитан так он в латвии больше года от туда же виднее у кого потери больше не так ли?)))
