Great live record. I bought this album in the year 1987. Still listening to it with being age 52 now. Last Night was my favourite song back then. Love the guitar playing at 4:28 throughout.

This was my favorite song when it came out, and I haven't listened to it in a long time. Omg; does this stand up well over all this time?! You better believe it!

This is my all time favourite electric blues guitar instrumental album, first heard many years ago. Larry has a fantastic feel for the sustained note. I was fortunate to see him play in Auckland, New Zealand, about 9 years ago. He signed a concert DVD for me and gave his guitar pick to a young boy who was there with his Dad. My guess is that the pick is still super treasured by that boy, to this day. Larry is a real gent and a maestro on the guitar. He joins a special list, with the likes of Peter Frampton. Fantastic guitarists and very “Humble Pie”! 👍😎🇳🇿🎸🍺🍺

There are no"boring parts"....no long drum solos,no gaps (like so much jazz, where you need to skip over boring parts!) We thought of this as"light jazz"at the time(there was always the debate raging about the West Coast sound versus the East Coast sound!) This was one of my truly favorite songs back then, and I will wager about that this stands out whether it's East Coast or West Coast or from the moon! He explores many different genres, all within one soon!. If I have to listen to One Larry Carlton song, I'll take this one!
