Love watching your videos. Our run is 7.5x21. In the winter we wrap our run with clear thermal panels. The coop has a few cozy coop panels to take off the edge. Your sweater panels are a great idea. Might incorporate those in the run. When it starts getting in the negatives like it is now for 3-4 days in a row, we bring them in the garage. We put in a small temporary run in the garage for those few unusually frigid days/nights. Our garage is heated but we keep the temp low so the transition is not bad for them. We only started doing this recently as we have 5-ladies that are over 5.5 years now. Maybe slightly overkill but it works. We have 8-ladies currently. Stay warm and safe ❤

we have our 8x20ft run wrapped in plastic, we have livestock panel heaters and a frost free water bowl. I will make them warm oatmeal on mornings that are really cold and a warm protein in the evening before they set to roost.

It’s going to be mild tonight -9C (15F) but the cold is coming after that so the heaters will be coming on.

Not going to get snow but dropping temperatures in low 40's expected...74° expected for tomorrow i will be hanging up some tarps to block the wind....

How do you keep ventilation for the run if it's plastic wrapped?
