Never really settled on a good boots yet, I do service hvac so I kinda settled on sneakers that are comfortable. Will definitely look into to the blundstone

If your feet get cold in the winter, it is likely because they are sweating and making your socks and boot insulation wet. An easy solution to this is to use a thin liner sock, then a vapour barrier sock (this can be just a plastic bread bag) then your insulating sock over that. The idea being the vapour barrier sock will prevent the moisture generated from your feet to make your insulating sock and boot insulation wet. Other tips is to size up your winter boots to accommodate thicker socks and still be able to wiggle your toes easily to keep the blood flowing.

I'm still one of the hardest people to buy gifts for. For boots I need an extra wide toe and I use Redwing. I don't see anyone dropping $200+ for boots to help me out. I have two tools that are on my list of what I want and they're both over $200, and yes I would use them. I get hoodies for free and because I have great blood circulation so I don't need anything heavy. Now a suggestion for a tool as an electrician is the Milwaukee M18 framing nail gun. I use the 21° and I use it a lot for electrical since I'm an electrician. I wire multimillion dollar custom homes and so some things must be very specific on location. A pneumatic nail gun is fine, but it takes too much time to get it out and wrap it back up. My boss has a pneumatic, but now uses the M18 because I showed him how it saves time. I even convinced other contractors to get these nail guns and they haven't regretted it since.
