Backing was a nightmare for me at first but I asked God to open up my understanding on what I had be trained to do and he answered my prayer. I go slow slow slow.😂😂😂. Hey Driva, Love your videos. Please let them know that you are driving and cannot receive any negative news while you are driving. You need your rest and focus while on the road. It helps with setting up those boundaries while you are over the road. No need to be stressed out about things at home.

I know how you feel! I've been stuck in Chicago for a month! Back and forth! I told my FM and nothing changed. He leaves for the weekend and I get a load to Atlanta. 🤷 Finally get to stretch driving skills. I'm not sure what to expect without nutso drivers all around me.

I love it up there but Girl getting out of Chicago is hell that traffic along with the construction it’s a nightmare. If you do get a chance to explore I just parked on the side of the road where the shipper is and got me a Uber downtown…

A good truck driving school will get you started. He will at least have some kind of skills to work from but after that it probably takes three years of driving a truck before you get over the nervousness of backing or hoping it will be an easy place where it won’t be hard to back or whatever, but at some point you’re so good that you don’t even think about it anymore

Chicago has a gloomy spirit hanging over it. When I moved out of Chicago and would come home I could fill my spirit drop. I now live here in Chicago and I have to constantly pray.

I start getting that feeling too when i go to Chicago or get stuck NE for more than a couple days..i have to tell them to get me out from up here im not feeling it

That’s where I work is Chicago I’m Chicago regional I like Chicago. It’s not bad. I look at it like I would rather deal with Chicago regional then deal with the mountains that are out there when you go over the road.

@@Slimepack392 welp now I know prime got a lot of different style trucks with some being the exact same. Kinda got me want a Peterbilt just for the style but I need to test drive one because I done got comfortable with how Freightliner drive

You do Make More Money running an Average in the 495 - 800 Miles Range. You can Complete around of 3-4 Trips in one week. I start off with A long haul trip From the Weekend for Monday morning Delivery and Dead Head to Pickup A Backhaul and depending on the Mileage to Deliver By Wednesday and Pickup up a Deliver For Thursday or Friday it depends on what They have on the Load Board and a lot of Times I do Saturday Morning Delivery and Sometimes Drop on Sunday Which Is Called an STI ( Subject to Inspection) And Dead head Back to my terminal. They Can Keep Them Westbound Loads. I’ll Run Between Kansas City to New York - Boston Ma. Or Miami to Memphis or Dallas or Houston to Atlanta to Chicago. It depends but Anything past Dallas / Fort Worth Or Houston/ San Antonio,TX or Kansas City, Kansas or Past Omaha Nebraska or St Paul /Minneapolis Mn area I won’t Run. But that’s where you’ll Make Better and More Revenue then Running 1 Long Haul that’s Over 1500 Miles and More.

So how much are you making if I may ask.
