The foreshadowing in this session for Scar man. He gives his boogeyman detection crystal to Mumbo and then proceeded to get killed by the boogeyman. He gives his luck crystal and then died to the trap he previously survived in. It’s poetic at this point.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Scar The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the southerners would tell you. It’s a last life legend. Scar was a Dark Lord of the last life, so powerful and so wise he could use the crystals to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the boogeyman side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the server is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he gave his apprentice all his luck crystals, then his apprentice killed him in with a trap. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

@@yungtwizzler Not sure "wise" is the best word to describe someone who spent pretty much all of session 1 scamming as many server-mates as possible boy-who-cried-wolf style, and then questions why everyone is refusing to trust him.

Scar was the tragic hero of this episode. From getting threatened to targeted by every red name and boogeyman on the server to making the ultimate sacrifices to reunited everyone and bring peace to the server. He cured the boogeyman and he yellow’d the reds just to die in a freak accident and become the only red name

Indeed, I though Grian's death was tragic but Scar's was on a whole other level. On the other hand, his going from seven lives to one may have made him the most powerful person on the server. He just needs to target the people he gave his lives to, making them red names who are contractually bound not to hurt him while both of them are red names.

If the wolves teleport when hurt, imagine when being attacked you do something (redstone, telling someone at the base, etc) to do 1 damage to each at once and they all teleport to you to help.

Place a dog on trapdoor above water. Through tripwire or any other means, you can activate the trapdoor, and drop wolf into water. That will cause the wolf to stop sitting and instantly teleport to you.

Grian: leaves south lands for half a session Southlands: descends into chaos The ironic part here is that grian is the chaotic one…

Scar is an NPC with plot armour that just gets killed off to red when his green character potential ends.

@@malinatof no, it didn't even come close to going off before he died, and even if it barely went off, you take damage when you teleport, which would have killed him anyways.

It's because he sold the crystals to the maker of the traps. Boogeyman Detection Crystal - Got killed by Boogeyman. Lucky Crystal - He fell for the same trap the crystal protected him from. Houdini (however you spell that) Escape Crystal - Could not escape the Boogeyman or the trap.

I'm really amazed how they went "oh this trap is instant death" then watch none of them actually kill anyone... except the one that got a third chance

scar conned everyone and then basically conned them again to get them to be his allies. in the process forgetting two rules. the boogie man has all alliances nulled til they're cured, and red lives have their alliances nulled unless they manage to get another life or they happen to team up with other red names.

@@AshW10N technically grian can't because that would set him to being on his last life. so scars' options within the limits of the rules that were laid out by grian in the first episode are either A convince a green name to give him one life, or B start to push the series to an end by making the yellow names drop to red. i doubt scar can do option A given that people will have told the others that scar failed to listen to grian telling him "don't step off the stone bricks" and therefore caused himself to basically lose his last spare life. so to those who would read this and still think scar should be saved from being on his very last life might possibly need their heads examined. because scar is a source of problems, not a victim. because instead of working directly with SmallishBeans when they were both the boogieman, scar was off trying to con people out of lives for use of the enchanter that technically was never his to start with, ended up nearly causing both of them to fail at being the boogieman.

@Luis Suazo Pearl has four, Tango has five. Those are the two with the highest amount of lives. Lizzie only has three. I really don't see anyone with three lives giving one up to Scar.

Scar used up every bit of magic in his crystals to survive that first trap. And watching that Ender pearl fly out of the trap at the end is such a heartbreaker

So... the algorithm gods suggested this series, which I ignored for a couple weeks. Now I am actively devouring all content from theses creators and also looking at their other series.

I love how much death and destruction the ghast farm has brought. Happy to see some random killing :)
