Last Leg of 3 Peaks Challenge: Hiking to England's Highest Peak, Scafell Pike via the Corridor Route

Join us on a thrilling hiking adventure as we tackle the highest mountain in England - Scafell Pike, via the challenging Corridor Route that begins in Seathwaite. In this video, we'll be comparing our experience of climbing Scafell Pike with the climbs of Ben Nevis and Snowdon, the highest peaks in Scotland and Wales respectively.
Starting from the picturesque village of Seathwaite, we'll set out on the Corridor Route, a challenging but incredibly rewarding hike that offers some of the most breath taking views in the Lake District National Park. As we make our way up the mountain, we'll encounter rocky paths, steep inclines, and awe-inspiring scenery that will take our breath away.
By the end of the hike, I'll compare our experiences with those of Ben Nevis and Snowdon, drawing conclusions about which peak offers the best experience, as well as which is the most challenging to climb.
So come along with us as we hike to the summit of Scafell Pike via the Corridor Route, and compare our experience with the climbs of Ben Nevis and Snowdon. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just looking for some inspiration for your next adventure, this video is sure to provide plenty of excitement and adventure!

Have you hiked the 3 UK Peaks, and if so, which was your favourite and why? Which was the easiest, which was the hardest?

Great job Caroline! That looked fun. I'll have to watch your Snowden hike. Way to challenge yourself. It's great that you have a partner that is just as adventurous as you are. Happy trails!

Thank you - you'll have to excuse the quality (or lack thereof) of the Snowdon video, I feel like practice has made me better... and an upgraded mic too! I feel so lucky to have met Andy, perhaps unsurprisingly, we met travelling so we both had adventurous souls within us I think!

How are you doing mrs Caroline thank you for sharing your trips with us . Every new video I learned new vocabularies, new information, explore new places . I thought crag scrambling is place but it’s means scrambling us hiking activity that entail climbing up and retain primarily with your hands and also with your feet . Crag means small climbing area , defined physically by dominant rock features like cliff face . Crag usually contains numerous climbing routes .as always I gathered main information about places you visited briefly here it’s Scafell pike is highest and most prominent mountain in England elevation of 958 meters . Located in Lake District National Park Cumbria and part of southern fells and Scafell massif . Scafell word derived from old Norse means shielding or fell with bald summit . Scafell pike is one of horseshoes of high fells open to south surrounding head of Eskdale Cumbria.

Hi Khatoon, i'm well thank you, I hope you are too. I love that my videos continue to help with your English vocabulary. I really enjoy scrambling up, but hate it on the down! Circular routes where you can come down a path that doesn't require scrambling are perfect hikes for me.

Caroline, Good job hiking the three highest peaks in the UK. What is next, Denali? 🏔Years ago, I watched people going up Mount St. Helens in Washington State, so I wanted to do that. The next year Mount St. Helens 🌋erupted and I never got to climb Mount St. Helens. Glad you can enjoy the peaks in the UK. I love 💘your channel and the fun videos. The mountains of UK are amazing. Cheers. 🥪🥪🧔

Oooof, I can't imagine trying to hike Denali. Fun fact, I only know it as Mt. McKinley so when I just Googled the height, I learnt something new! 🤣 It's such a shame you didn't get the chance to hike Mt. St. Helens. I vividly remember learning about it in Geography at school and in 2010 got the chance to visit the area and it was good getting to be there and see the late aftermath in person! Thank you for your kind words as always - cheers!

Great feat to make it up the last of the three peaks - an honourable achievement I'd say! The Corridor Route looks decent, it's funny how expectations can turn a good route into a great one or vice versa. Interesting question as to why it's called the Corridor Route and not the Valley Route! Glad you got a clear view from the peak and it's amazing that you could see Wales and Scotland from up there. Glad to hear the lady said yes at the top!!

Thanks Matt, it was a great feeling to know I've done all 3. Never been to Northern Ireland, but whenever I eventually make it, I'll need to have a go at their highest peak too! Funny how you say you're glad I got clear views... surprised I didn't pick up on this being a big difference to the other 2. Snowdon was in the thick of the clouds so no chance of a view. Ben Nevis gave us a break for maybe 2 minutes. Certainly my favourite out of the 3 but I do think weather and less crowds were huge factors!

Hi David, thank you 🙏 How did you find the trail from Wasdale when you did it? In the school summer holidays (when this was shot) it was incredibly busy, though I appreciate if you can travel outside these peak times it's probably a lot nicer.

Thank you for inspiring me and so nice to see all your adventures. great that you are doing it all when you are young. please keep the videos coming as they are fun to watch.
