This is a vlog series of our 11 days journey to South India by road, touching popular coastline of Southern India (aka West Coast of India). In this Vlog series we will cover multiple destinations, explore each location, meet new people and will tell you the tips about what exactly you Should or Shouldn't Do when you are on a road trip.🙂

About West Coast Drive:
South India is one of the most talked about and go to destination amongst all kind of travelers in India. Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi had become popular destinations of every Hodophile (Road Lover). We all want to take our wheels on Pamban Bridge and drive to the Last Land of India at Dhanushkodi, where roads end.
We had planned this roadtrip and made its itinerary last year in December, and waited for our Thar to come home to take this trip. This trip is a coast to coast drive in South India, and exploration of below destinations. Though we didn't got to complete the entire west coast in this trip due to time constraints, but we made sure that we cover these locations, through coastal roads as much as we could.
So, here are all the locations we will visit in this Vlog Series in 11 days:

In this vlog we will show you the, how you can plan your day and kms, road conditions, breaks, must visit places, best stay options and best places to eat while you travel to these destinations. This series will be a complete tour guide for you if you want to take this trip and want to follow our itinerary. Also, we will give you alternate road details incase you want to cover these locations via the shortest/fastest route and not coast to coast, as we did.

Day -1
Pune To Bengaluru:
- Pune to Rameswaram is 1452 Kms by road. So, on our Day-1, we started from Pune by 2:00 am at night and decided to take our Day 1 stop at Bengaluru.
- My brother stays at Bengaluru so we decided to meet them on the way and stay at their place at night.
- From Karnataka, passes the famous Kashmir to Kanyakumari NH 44 via Hosur for Rameswaram. We decided to take that on the next day drive for Rameswaram.
- Day-1 journey was to Bengaluru, which is 865 kms from our home to our destination at Bengaluru.
- Mumbai-Bengaluru highway is a busy one and we decide to leave early from Pune, so that we can reach Bengaluru by sunset and avoid Bengaluru Traffic in evening. Also, reaching early allowed us to spend some quality time with our family and rest well for the next day drive.
- We kept our Day 1 breaks to minimal and reached almost around the time we expected.
