I too roller skated many decades ago. This song and a couple others , "last waltz", "Can't help falling in love".... made it so very easy to get the ladies to fall madly in love.

I love this gospel version of this song. A friend of mine recorded a gospel version of Drift Away. It is wonderful that these great songs are crossing over to the gospel side. I hope to see more songs surface, as well. I love the vocal she did on this.
