I just watched this on Netflix only because it was Christmas Eve but oh wow, this exceeded my expectations. Actors have a great chemistry. The film is funny, is romantic, is sad and finally is heartwarming. I love it with all my heart.

He’s a ghost. Proof! 1. He’s wearing the same clothes throughout the movie, probably what he was wearing when he died. 2. We do not see him interact with anyone other than Khaleesi. 3. The song choice is telling. “Last Christmas I GAVE YOU MY HEART”. She had a heart transplant. He’s the donor. 4. Her boss is also of Asian descent, and we can’t have two minorities of the same race in a movie without them knowing each other or being blood related. He’s her dead son.

Such an underrated film. It’s charming, funny, sweet, emotional and touching. It has a lot of heart! The chemistry between Emilia & Henry is just electric. Do yourself a favor and watch it!

When Kate said *“I’m not gonna heal my heart and then give it to someone who is going to break it”* is the best foreshadowing in the movie.

Well, that is the beauty of watching the trailer of a movie, if it hasn’t sold you on it for two and a half to three minutes then there is no way you’re gonna spend money in a theater for two hours to watch it. It’s basically two to three minutes of free entertainment.

Everyone keeps whining and whining (as if their comment is ANY better than the other 50 comments stating this trailer spoiled the whole movie so why watch it anyway?) I can see where people are coming from, they put the main themes in it, but it is a *3 minute trailer* for a movie that will be close to *2 hours* 120 minutes. Sooo... a 120 minute movie cannot possibly tell you the whole story in THREE MINUTES! Sorry @wittyname I didn’t mean to offend YOU. I agreed they put some things in they could have left out, but knowing Emma Thompson’s brilliance, especially as a screenplay writer, I think we may be underestimating some twists and turns Kate and Tom go through. Besides, who in the world wouldn’t want to watch a movie with the most charming guy that has graced us with his presence again, Henry Golding. And also, my goodness who wouldn’t want to watch Emilia Clarke in this type of cutesy role? She’s adorable and funny and sexy and just like Henry, very charismatic. They both are so perfectly cast. 🥰 Win win for both men and women no matter whom you’re attracted to. Shoot, I’m attracted to BOTH. But it’s not just their looks.. it’s their spark

A 3-minute trailer is usually not a good thing. For a film like this a long trailer is fine, but they need to be careful with not giving away too much. Longer trailers like the Justice League ones are fun to watch, but then by the time the movie comes out you gave a feeling that you've already seen the movie, so you have no motivation to pay for it.

Honestly I'm very very grateful for this movie having been made. Firstly, the SOUNDTRACK. George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were overdue for a complete soundtrack of their works, and even if it is dominated by George's back catalogue, Andrew played a big (and small cameo) part in bringing Last Christmas to us. Then there's Emma Thompson's screenwriting which really sparkles with her wit and intelligence, and Emilia Clarke is the perfect vehicle for it to play out on screen. She is completely genuine in this role, and all the more touching because of it. It's also just a lovely advertisement for the beauty and wonder and magic that is London, especially at night. You will NEVER have enough time to discover all of the treasures that London has in store for you. Such a feel-good Christmas flick that rewards repeated viewings. Thank you to all who are responsible for Last Christmas!

I cried when I read that George actually knew about & loved the movie from Emma Thompson. I know it's silly but that just made it even more special like having Andrew Ridgley in the audience at the end of the movie

This movie was not what i expected. It had me bawling by the end of it and now i won’t be able to stop think about it for the rest of the week....the whole movie made me value life sm more

Because that's reality. Happy endings don't exist in real life, movies like these are awakenings for you and its relatable to real life, life has its ups and downs as usual. All we can do is be the best version of ourselves no matter what obstacles are coming.

My friend died of a heart attack today 💔💔💔 I am so heartbroken 😭. He lost his father 5 months ago. They were both kind people who put others before themselves.

It's best not to read comments on trailers generally if you want to see the film. Also, a lot of people guessed the twist long before the film came out and wrote it here. The twist is in the title, though!

Fully agree. People out there aim to be 'critical' for the sport of it. Its like the opposition in government opposing everything for the sake of it (rather than saying hey that's great we agree with that). How often have you loved a movie and then seen bad reviews you disagree with? So much hyper-BS to wade through in today's world.

I'm not much of a movie person, but this has touched my heart and brought me to tears. I was really feeling the emotions and I predicted the ending as well, it's sad but heart warming the same time.

Ok all I have to say is this movie took a big impact on me I just came from watching it and I’m still in tears the message behind this movie is beyond beautiful.

I am going to see it again with my sister. I also am still in tears. I loved how the social injustices that George cared about were addressed in the movie. I think the movie should be played in every High School in the world.

Some of the scenes were hard to watch without getting teary eyed. Loved the scenes he takes her to the skating rink to help her, the homeless shelter to volunteer, and his place where they opened up about their scars, so to speak. I can relate to her when she talks to him about when she nearly died. The hard part was the bench scene when she remembers everything and understands his quote, "Look Up". It was absolutely touching to read George Michael gave his blessing to use his music especially "Last Christmas " as the soundtrack. The way Emma Thompson incorporated the lyrics "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart" into something so beautiful that had nothing to do with what one might think. His music brought out the best in this movie. I loved it but some scenes were tough to watch especially knowing her Angel is no longer there for her yet she still thinks about him and misses him. So beautiful I cried.

Everyone talking about how this movie ending is so obvious and i just cant stop thinking that the mom is nanny mcphyn lol
