Went here a couple months ago, exhausting hiking around everywhere but well worth the wait

I grew up in Deming. It's amazing, what a person DOESN'T know about the history of an area, especially when it's NOT promoted by by the town's involved. I have to give the Internet and KZread credit.

The economy of this state is based on mining and oil. But I do wish that the miners and frakkers would be forced to clean up and restore the land when they are finished, but the Corporations are in power so that will NEVER happen unfortunately!

I've checked out some of the mines around here

This Location is actually in Gage, New Mexico, about 4-miles behind the Truck stop Dairy Queen. Which is all there is to the city of Gage. LOL this was a great video though ;) and I have actually been to the Hirst Castle in California

@Derek Post George Hearst the mining magnate was the father of William Randolph Hearst, and operated the Pacific Mine in Pinos Altos, among many others. George originally owned the property in California that was later developed into Hearst Castle by his son WRH.

Gage was also small community in the around 1950's my great grandmother/father and grandmother lived there.

I live in Deming for 3 years can anyone point me where is it at I want go there and see 😅
