How are those UV oils holding up with that lighting? I've seen that those curing agents sometimes need specific wavelength UV to cure. Are those low energy (compared to Vesting's) lights enough?

LED diodes operate in spectrums, not specific wavelengths. There is a lot of overlap between 395nm and 385nm. As far as power goes, there is definitely a difference between the chimi light and cuvo, however this is where we refer to the inverse square law of light. Light gets significantly stronger when you get closer and when you add more point sources. Notice I hold the light very close and at an angle. Lastly, ALL uv finishes have a limited amount of photosensitive chemicals, once saturated, the finished is fully cured. Intensity is one factor, spectrum is another, and TIME is the last factor. With the Chimi handheld, I can definitely make way faster passes, however it’s still way slower than a 18in handheld. Btw, you don’t even need indoor lights. You can cure every single UV polymer with the sun. (Make sure to look into how to do it right with your specific polymer)

@@TNTINDUSTRIESLLC Sweet thanks! definitely something I need to try. Looks like a game changer. Vesting also emailed back and said their oils cure with 395nm. FWIW.

They told me the same thing. Follow my advice at your own risk. That being said, I’m turning in $50k jobs using this method and standing behind it.
