Shut up It was just a demonstration that it won’t work just find a video

You are supposed to keep it warm for a few minutes before they work properly. Also, use rechargeable batteries and make sure they are fully charged and take the batteries out of the laser when you aren't using it - the laser drains the batteries even when you aren't using it. I have green laser and if I keep the batteries inside for hours without using it, the next time I use the laser it won't work properly so this is why I use rechargeable batteries, the lasers work fine when they are fully charged.

Blue Rabbit do you mean put the foil on the deep end of the laser. if so, i tried and it didn’t work. i then put it on the spring side and it started warming up very fast so i got scared and took the batteries out. what should i do

I read somewhere that you shouldn't jostle the Laser around. But I'm having the same problem except mine is a purple laser at 5000 mW and is not working when I depress he button.

My guess is the laser's crystal is out of alignment. Green laser's are not actually Green. They are a kind of DPSS laser. At the start They are lasers infrared (1064nm) that pass through a crystal which speeds up the wavelength to 532nm. This also makes them more fragile and more prone to issues then other diode-only lasers (like reds, blues, and violets) If the crystal is out of alignment the laser is still working but it will be invisible to the human eye. Your laser is just going from a 532nm (green laser) to a 1064nm infrared laser. So beware! Don't look directly into the end if the pointer as infrared laser can still cause blindness and are VERY dangerous because you do not have the natural blink reflex for infrared light. You would be able to pick up the light with night vision equipment and some CCD and CMOS camera sensors. On the cool side you have a nifty infrared laser.

Just pull the spring on the other half alittle and it should work

Same problem for me too There is a short circuit in the battery tube/holder. If you bypass the tube and connect the battery direct it works fine. But I can't see an easy practical fix for it

Dee Lee put a tiny bit of foil at the botttom of the end cap the put the 2 batteries on top as normal fixes the short circuit

Mine had the same issue. Turns out the bottom silver part had come out a little bit so it wasn’t getting a good connection on the battery. I pushed it in all the way and it works perfectly now
