Hello Sam, excellent video. I don’t know where you find the time to do all the projects, testing, script writing, filming, editing etc. for your channels and still be a father to your kids and a husband to your wife, and yet you do it, and do it well. Gos bless you.

Nice use of the 1-2-3 blocks! I've got some in my shop and will use that trick with the P2 in the future! The P2 close-up camera tied with the XCS software offset from material thickness is an awesome combo for sure!

Thanks Sam. I bought your test files and have found them indispensable in preparing the settings for the depth or darkness of engravings and for all settings in general. For a very small price it has saved me countless hours of experimentation. Would highly recommend! G'day from Australia!!

It really depends on the material composition. This material seemed "dirtier" than my usual Baltic birch plywood from MakerStock.

Ha! and I just had a failed job using my D1 Pro 20W that didn't burn through. No cameras on this model, this job is now firewood :( If only I could afford the P2 :D Love your videos Sam, you come across as such a good guy. Heh, if I could afford to pay you for a weeks time, I'd beg you to help me set up a laser business. BTW, I love your new shop! Outstanding! Take care.

Thank you for the video. In regards to this video is there anyway to restart at a certain point of the processing, if for some reason my machine stopped/powered down I could just tell it to start back up where it left off.

Do you use accelerator on your CA glue? Does it hurt the overall strength of the joint?

Any capability of the software with the camera to auto-locate the blank and then automagically translate and rotate the vector file to it? Also, if it had the capability to find fiducial marks and orient to them, you could pre cut/pre engrave a bumch without customization and then run them through again for customization when orders are placed.

Hi Sam. How do I get a price for an item I would like put on a hat?

Definitely would have helped me with multiple failed prints over the years... I've had to resort to jigs to get anywhere close to what that machine can do with it's dual camera setup.
