Good Job man! Thank you for not only inspirng but also sharing your projects with the online community :))
It’s great that you keep your collaboration with Dassault Systèmes to produce your legendary content. I can tell you that your rover video has had a great success among DS Enovia engineers. 👍
Amazing but simple projects! These are projects that I can do with my son! Congratulations for the excellent channel and content!

Amazing😍👍👍🤩
With this laser power you should think about some enclose, it is enough to irreversible damage your eye within a glimpse. Also a fume extraction would be good because of the toxic gases and particles. Greets from an engineer who works everyday with lasers.

Fantastic design. How would the electronic part be changed, if you had to drive NEMA 34 controllers instead of small NEMA 17 ones?
Wawwwww Amazing 😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
that's a brilliant idea big bro, may i ask why you not use light burn for the software? i really love our design, maybe i do it for may laser engraver..

hi man i wanted to ask if you make curses where you build those projects from scratch like actually building all the parts in solid works and explaining the code in details ? great video by the way
To go further with the application of this scara arm ( like found with Fanuc industries ) I guess it's not imposible to make a version for 3d printing. Good work as usual keep us amazed!

@@HowToMechatronics Awesome :)
Just an idea I had after watching the start of your video, you say you dont need the 4th rotary axis on the end effector as you are mounting the laser there. Most of the lower cost diode lasers dont have round beam shapes and they give a rectangular beam spot, as a result you find they will give higher power when travelling along that narrower axis. My thought is if you used the rotary axis to turn the laser head you could keep it aligned along that axis to maximize power, most important when cutting with the laser. My other thought was this may not be too difficult if you processed the file to be used as though it was to done with a drag knife engraver ? maybe there is already software that will keep the head aligned for that purpose ? Anyway nice project !
Finally he remembers that he has a youtube channel♥️😂 By the way nice project♥️🔥🔥🔥

Great work. Just one question to the forward kinematics equation: + instead of x , correct?
Can you do an indepth inverse kinematics explanation? Showing the steps how to derive the equations and perhaps doing another example for other robot design would be very nice!

Well I plan to make such a tutorial as a website article, but I lack time to do it any time soon.
@risingmermo

I understand how inverse kinematics works in theory but I've never been able to understand how people use it on real things. I don't underhand how they manage to get the angles needed for calculations and I also don't understand how they manage to get the location of a partof the robot in 3d space
Parabéns Excelente trabalho Onde posso conhecer mais sobe seu trabalho? Paiva Brasil
nice! you could mount the robot above the material which would give you full 360* freedom

That's cool idea!
Great job :) Do you think that firmware will work with more recent 32bit board like BTT skr2 or octopus , i think it will be better linear or circular interpolation that is not really possible with a mega2560.
Cool
A video in which you convert the robotic arm into a 3d printer would be very interesting.
It’s great

Hi Thank you very much for all the information. I have a question. Your Solidworks 2D drawing should prepare for zero and home point, and you had to look upside down so that, for example, the scara offset x and y will be 200, -120. What if you see the Solidworks drawing exactly right. Then the x + axis is to the right, the y + axis to the top and the z - axis from the screen to the top (the z axis will be the same). If we write the coordinates with this perspective to Marlin and change the limit switch pin to "+" except for the z axis (z axis still in "-"), should this work (x, y, z home direction is still -1 because we are approaching limit switches, but for positive direction this time for x and y)?

Hey, thank you very much for the coolest content. Creativity. Looking at your site, I noticed two projects where you use the same tool, laser engraving machine by "scara robot" and laser engraving machine by "simplest CNC machine", I guess the question, what is the use of laser in scara even though there is a simpler CNC machine that is easier to use and less expensive, but most of those interested in this field use the same idea of the simplest CNC machine as it develops. scara . is not used
These scara plans, down to the thumbnail of the how-to build video, are all over the net as diy kits. People are trifling
Can marlin support a dual setup? Sticking a laser module to my 3d printer extruder assembly would allow me to do both, without having to switch hardware?
can you please make a video of its parts briefly, from where you bought it and how you did the complete programming the brief video🙂
Could this possibly be scaled up to run at a small workshop level to cut stuff like sheet metal? Looks quite interesting, only seen Scara printer prototypes before.

Sure, why not if designed properly.
Woww
Given the many degrees of freedom of the robot, would it be possible to engrave ona 3d surface of an object, like the sides of a cone?
❤❤❤
Looks like you'll be building a robot which can cook food for you, with servo based hands, in future
супер! еще бы скетч выложили было бы замечательно)
Woooooooow😎
How does the SCARA kinematics and homing logic in Marlin work out for you? Do you need any more changes / improvements to get everything working well? I introduced a “scara feedrate scaling” factor at one point to deal with the difference between degrees-per-second versus mm-per-second, and that should have an obvious positive effect on laser engraving. And I also have in reserve some alternative kinematics (to deal with XY tool offsets) and improved homing (Z first, to the top and “quick homing”) for a SCARA like yours (with a rotating base), originally made for the defunct MakerArm project. There is even mesh leveling. Some of those changes should eventually get integrated into Marlin. At one point I also repaired the old laser plugin for Inkscape, but it looks like the plugin you used is superior.

Hey Scott, thanks for the incredible work you put in the Marlin firmware. Just like I said in the video, I had some problems with the homing, I opened up a issue request on Github #22233. I managed to get it somehow working with commenting few lines just like explained in the video, but still it's not working 100% as it should be.
I can't understand what size of the working area turned out in the end, if measured from the base of the manipulator?
How does deeply work air defence system? & How to make air defence system? (Eg.- radar gaided system. )

No, therefore you need a much stronger laser with a higher wavelength.
Please make a 3D printer version video off this sacara robot. Getting rid off from the traditional 3d printer's small printing area besides occupying big place problems can be solven by this.
Nice, guy, what you think about place this robot upside down on sth, it will have a circularr workspace, not without this stand
if i mod these plans to accomodate my 3d printer nozzle and extruler would i have a very dextrous printer?
How do we enlarge this design if we wanted to..? like to make it's working area about a plywood sheet size..?
So can you also put a pen holder on the end to draw with this as well?? Thanks Laurie
