Southpoint is definitely a throwback to old Vegas where they have a loss leader on their buffet and players stick around to play the tables and slots. They also have midnight specials in the coffee shop.

Great to see Erin join you. She must have really been hungry, trying to eat Bill like that. LOL This is my kind of buffet. Good food at a great price. Not a Bloody Mary person but I would try one as it is included. This reminds me of how Las Vegas used to be. Bill and the banger comment. 😮😂 That Bloody Mary kicked in!

Aloha Bill, Lisa and Erin: Thank you for this review of the South Point buffet. I am amazed at the offerings for the $14.95 breakfast buffet. I was amazed that they offered so much variety at the price-point. The menudo, Spam, and build-your-own loco moco, made this a casino I plan on visiting when I get to Vegas. The unlimited Bloody Marys must have been a “joy” to indulge in while enjoying the buffet. Looking forward to the next segment of your journey in Vegas. Best wishes and much 🧧! 🤙

I need to try that buffee. Will be excellent when I am jetlaged. I also love how Americans talk about Europe as it is one country. Breakfast menus are so different between the countries in the south compare to the north. Even just between Italy and France.

My my, really good price! Not a drinker and kinda early to be eating a buffet, but we are certainly willing to try and get there, at least, by 8 a.m! We love their Prime Rib Dinner buffet and all that comes with it. Hope to be in Vegas for our annual winter trip!! And hope all the F1 mess is cleared up. Especially by the Bellagio.

Great selection for the price

I would bring my biggest winter jacket with many deep pockets with zip locks before I go there. I mean, so I've heard. I appreciate that they have pork belly and that the spam not too thick. Bear claw (with less chocolate) is a favorite. Sausage patties > links.
