You just control group the larva with an ovie and press S.... This moves all larva to the left

I'm picturing a pile of battered laptops laying in a heap in your room.

I've been watching Flash and Larva's play for about a year in their own stream (I'm Korean) and to give you some context, larva didnt need to scout as he saw the vulture, as well as wraith, and knew it was 1-1-1 build. 111 is considered the best build against Zerg right now. You buy time with vulture and wraith, defend and amass vessels as they are one of the most cost efficient units in the game. There's a small opening before terran gets too strong which is before 6 barracks and thats when Larva attacks with mutalisks. This was a very standard T v Z game until much later on. Although, I'm not sure if theyre flash and larva

@@TheCopyTitan 1-1-1 is known as the Destiny Cloud Fist build that means you build a barracks then a factory then a starport quickly before really investing into units.

@@UncensoredRhett I could well be wrong, but I feel like 1-1-1 was a thing long before Destiny was a thing....

The marine just running into the zerglings for that long and not reacting seems like a not Flash thing to do. I'd also expect Flash to pull SCVs and try to pull of some miracle w/ body-blocking SCV in front of marines.

Falcon, have you tried casting a match from the POV of only one side? I watched a recent game like that and it added an element of excitement and surprise from not knowing what scheme the enemy was hatching.

I love when a game makes you (or anyone) genuinely laugh like that (when buddy just leaves at the 2.48 mark lol).

I think the minerals are there to force the workers to spawn on the mineral side.

I appreciate your contribution to growing the brood war community. Id recommend watching some asl or ksl to get familiar with builds. For example rushing hive for defiler is super normal and happens in 95% of macro ZvTs

The minerals pushes the larva towards the mining minerals to save walking distance.

I love the strategic depth of the first game.

What is apm?just asking,is it something like how fast a player is clicking buttons on keyboard or something?

Minerals at the beginning to prevent far larva giving zerg a mineral disadvantage. Still sorta happens but I think helps early pool plays.

heh: right before clicking on this video I was musing aloud as to why nobody seems to use firebats on corrupter zerg.

Rush vs terrain ( zerg) so crazy Because 1 terrain worker ( scv have 60 health and can be repair harder to kill than probe too much) 2 terrain have bunker never break with short melee attack ( only range attack like goon, tank, lurker ) can Terrrain especially strong when have 3 mine or 7 factory may be 14 barrack Their week is when expand( terrain commander building can be destroy easy by kill the scv build it)

Hey have you heard of the 4x rts game by 8 bit guy called Planet X (and its a trilogy)? it runs on very early pc compatiable systems and Commandor 64 and really pushes the old hardware. PS thx for the cast. lol on the beginning! No rushing zerg.

13:56 - He should have waited with burrowing lurkers for another 16 months - perfect, just perfect. God. I have impression that his Lurkers in this match spent 80 percent of their time 'on the surface while taking fire', it makes my head churn. Also - he repeatedly throws few zerglings and a defiler on the squad of marines, firebats and medics, I don't know, I feel annoyed. I am always on the 'Zerg' side but this was just some random nonsense.

Love the intro game

In the first game, Flash is killed at the beginning of the game. But, in the second game, Flash is dominant. The Science Vessel is unstoppable.

I think in total zerg is strongest race in SC1 and 2.

There are times I want brood wars vs SC2 unit matches. Okay I am certain SC2 would eliminate any BW army but it could be interesting to change it up. You know they are playing Zerg, but it is Queen or Overmind?

They were on the *very* edge of its area of effect. Visually, yea, but the coding makes it so that the visual picture of the dark swarm is a tiny bit bigger than its actual effect.

Second game question you had about the close minerals disappearing at the beginning,That was a fun way for the player to get fast money for just a small amount of time....just my guess

Trust me, he's lost more than a few games here.

06:57 I gave myself the opposite challenge when I first started using BWChart....I tried to win games with the lowest APM possible (work smarter not harder) and it's really gratifying to win a game when you have much much lower APM cause it's like a double win to defeat someone with one hand behind your back so to speak Also, would not LAG totally corrupt APM numbers sometimes? So if you don't know how laggy the game was, you don't know if those numbers are accurate or completely inflated. But you could still look at the ratio between the two players, and winning a match in fewer moves is the real measure of intelligence and skill, hence my take on it and the entire point I'm making.

It is something very British. When you said "he is not Jaedong. Nobody is Jaedong" the words "I am Brian! My wife is Brian, too!" immediately popped up in my head. It is from "Life of Brian". If you do not know the movie, but like bizarre and dark humor, well - watch it! I always find fire bats being a bit weak for the gas cost. You could just kite with vultures with gas in mine and ion thruster.
