Actually I think zero is kind of a tough player for Flash. Maybe not much as Jaedong, Effort, Stork or Bisu but still a strong adversary anyway.

Queen sucked in this game, but he's more than capable of taking games off flash.

This match to me resemble a slow, attrition based, and defensive battle from the first world war instead of the fast maneuver based combat from most matches

For Flash the sound of eating defiler is merely the sound of a futile desperate resistance of his doomed victims of an opponent!

Damn this is nostalgic to me. I spent countess hours playing this game as a young kid. Played 2s and 3s on fast maps with the same people for around 5 years.

lol @ 22:12. That one happy goliath just goes to town popping all of those incidentally plagued Overlord balloons.

I dont recall seeing that many turrets in any of the current meta games. Flaah always seems to make more than most terran players. The main terran challenge with mech is the really slow army and hard to defend multiple bases. Flash seems to overcome not only by the static D but also spreading out his army. When he attacked the right side, he still had a large portion of the army defending the left side. When the last tank singing the right side was killed by the drone drop, a few more tanks showed up, but not the whole army. For us lesser players, we have to keep our giant mech ball massed together. Flash wins because he can be everywhere with just enough units. Amazing.

exactly. This is what both Ample and Scan did not "correct" in the last two casted games. It is incredible hard to do, mind you, nevertheless it is what costs them their games. Ample tried to do so but left flanks open, Scan never splitted his army and moved his giant mech ball ever so slowly over the map, never attacking nor defending decisively. All the macro in the world will not save you if you do that and play against top 10 players.

I love FlaSh ! He is so good. For many he is the best gamer ever

Normally, the shift tab is intended to be blue and red. In patch 1.16, it used to be red and yellow, but for some reason the remaster sometimes just puts both players as yellow.

I appreciate you falcon paladin for posting one of the hardest games or the hardest game game in the world and casting legendary players who play so well =D

Agreed. Nothing else in this world gets me so hard when you have 14+ Ultralisk eggs spawning at the same time. Nothing.

This match was definitely distinct from the overall majority I have seen from both starcrafts Slow, spread out, and minimal maneuvering

I'd say the best play (the only good play) from Queen this match would be the drone drop around 22:28 that kills three plagued siege tanks.

Flash didn't make tanks for ages and the mines were minimal, Queen had a sweet timing window for MutaLing to win the game for him. Shame he went for hydras instead, which Goliaths alone countered.

Great cast, as always. Probably the best SC:Broodwar Remastered caster out there! Also, thanks for 1440p @ 60FPS 🙏🏿

great match, it kind of seemed like the Z player was on their backfoot pretty much since they decided to commit to pumping lisks over speedlings but they still put up great resistance.

Well done Flash! It was a good match for both players but I think the Zerg players could have been better by using Guardians in the early stage of the game rather than pulling off by a group of mutalisks only in 13 mins.

I knew it was gg when Zero A moved 9 Ultras into Flash Tankline. Surprised a top pro would do that.

flash just went with it with the goliaths lol

I don't mind a zerg loss if it's to Flash lolol

know what makes me more hyped than 14 ultralisks made at the same time ? 14 ultralisks crushed by spider mines and siege tanks :p just a terran player thingyou know :D

There was a point at which ZerO had higher supply and then lost about 72 population compared to Flash losing about 27 (including possible reinforcements being created though). ZerO/Queen really was crippled at that point in terms of ability to control the game.

I think Queen dropped drones on those plagued siege tanks in that first big engagement lol

Hi Falcon. I have a request that I think could be an interesting angle to occasionally do for your casts.. do the entire cast in one players POV. Feel like this will help people learn more as well as give more insight to what the player sees and thinks. Just a thought.

fights in broodwar are so cool, all the units spread out and BLAM BLAM you know what I mean? Sc2 it's just death ball and POP. Also the maps feels way bigger in BW. Hope SC3 if it exists will have the best of both worlds.

To be blunt, that's an outdated take on SC2. The current game is very much about smaller scale engagements all over the map. The days of the deathball wandering over are over, at least at the highest levels. Take this recent Clem vs Reynor game for an example. Both 18 years old. kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6aZqbOEiajQY9I.html

on my slightly smeared screen 1440p is not of any advantage but it's still a great cast of two of the best players out there ^^ And the cast ist as usual very good as well EDIT: The most famous mass-Goliath games to my knowledge happened to be Boxer vs Savior. Maybe you can dig up one of those and cast it?

i know this is probably a dumb question, but what do the dark swarm do?

It stops all ranged, single-target damage to any unit inside the dark swarm.

I play lots of other stuff, like Classic Wow and WarCraft 3, but I only cast BW and SC2.

Cool! a Match with flash! Is just so great! This Zerg have no chance! But why mutalisk wen you see Goliath? Why evolution of Mutalisk? I never see this evolution excepte in Z V Z

Zerg look helpless, cannot even imagine, how to break all this metal :-(((

He could have easily switched comps and turned those useless mutas into a bunch of guardians and backed them up with lings/whatever Or just switching like he should have and making lings against all those Goliath’s

Flash dominated. It wasnt just his micro but also the strategic placement of seige tanks

Great game. Used to play this when I was a kid but never followed up on that. Getting back into RTS now, found that watching SC2 casts isn't really for me, deathblobs getting deleted in seconds. Broodwar is quality viewing, however.
