Love Thor and the vids they put out but eddie comes accross a little bitter for me. I know hes very sarcastic but hes seems to see Larry as an upstart and not deserving of his place at the comp. He made a big deal about it in an earlier vid. Def resents his social media presence and profile but I can imagine why. Anyway, If youre strong enough you should be there regardless of what "work" you put in. Go Larry Go!

I noticed that all the top strongmen are super supportive to there fellow strongmen. Even Licis, who's a great technician analyzes Thor when they workout and gives really good advice that Thor due to his size and strength never considered. If that's not love and brotherhood (giving advice to make the reigning champ even better) then I don't know what is.

I think that is pretty common amongst most of them. They all have major respect for each other. Look at Oberst and Hall, they have said so much crap to each other, but when you see them together in videos it is pretty obvious that they get along and respect each other. Brotherhood in the sport is incredible! Reminds me of rugby, how we play rough then after all head over to the local pub or bar and hang out. Weird to say, but like that’s what masculinity is supposed to be. Be strong and rough but be friendly and help each other out.

Magnus explaining the strict criteria for a successful lift is fucking awesome. Magnus was one of the most technical strongmen of all time. I FUCKING love that he judges now. He was the first person I cheered for in a WSM competition. I don't know why either. I'm american. I was a kid. I didn't know who he was or what he had done. During that comp they asked another competitor "who would win" that guy said "Magnus, because he's got it here" (or something like that) and pointed at his head. That moment stood out to me and is emblazoned on my memory. (obviously not well enough to quote it properly)

Most of em have more lean mass than Larry. Brian shaw got a dexa scan recently and iirc he had like 315 lbs of lean mass

The more you train the stronger you get, age just means you’ve trained more. With hormones you don’t lose testosterone either, so with age you can get stronger, to a certain extent.. Edit: btw I don’t know what I’m talking about so someone can correct me if I’m wrong

Massive amount of pressure for Larry to perform in my opinion. I love seeing all these guys when they are in their own environment. KZread has changed my life. With KZread this massive planet gets just that much smaller. Thanks for sharing this. I love this shit!!

Look at how sound everyone is to each other....Greeting each other all the time, eating together, having a laugh. Really great sportsmanship!

These strongmen share so much respect between each other it amazes me!

Brian, Eddie, Thor have all been great mentors including their teams/trainers. Not doubt you’ll be the best, you’re being trained by the best group possible.

Better to be a warrior in the garden then a gardener in a war.

Excited to see Larry in a few years. This guy is an absolute monster in everything he does

Larry is the reason I started working out again. I was only benching 225 in March. I’ve trained and I ate right since and today I am benching 295. It also helps that I gained I weighed 195 when I stopped and gained a lot of weight. Still you guys get the point. Simply inspirational
