@@mishagermanovich Seinfeld has said many times in interviews that Larry David was the brains of the operation and wrote most of the show. Larry would write the dialogue and the episode's story. Then he would take it to Seinfeld where they would review it together and Seinfeld would edit things pertaining to his character or agree or disagree with jokes or any element of the script that worked or didn't work. Either way this is not much different from any other stand up comedian around that time that got their own show. Cosby, Rosanne, Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence all didn't write their own shows. Both Jerry Seinfeld AND Larry David deserve the credit. However, so does the marvelous staff of writers. Starting with Larry Charles. And the directors of course. Tom Cherones and Andy Ackermann. Executives like Rick Ludwin and George Shapiro. I could go on and on. Warren Littlefield, Carol Leifer, etc. Of course, NBC. WHEN THE SHOW WAS MOVED TO THURSDAY NIGHTS FOLLOWING CHEERS. Then, the ratings went "off the charts". Castlerock Productions. All of the supporting cast too. Obviously.
