    @@clarkkent3730 shut up. No one cares about your stupid proselytizing. You commented in Hebrew because my name at the time was written in Hebrew. So not only are you insufferable, you're also an anti-Semitic bigot. You think because my name was in Hebrew that I must be Jewish, so you immediately start harassing me about my morality.

    Still my favorite after all these years. "I know what time is, time is a thief" yes

  • @nicarua2502
    @nicarua25024 жыл бұрын

    VERSE 1: I know what time is, Time is a thief It'll steal into bed and rob you while you sleep And You'll never feel it It pulls off the covers, and rifles through your head Then you'll wait to find you can't remember what you just said... It happens to everyone... Just like the father of my father, time stole his mind And I can't forget that one-fourth of his blood is mine I try not to worry... CHORUS: Please don't come for me I promise I'll be great Just let me keep what's mine. (let me keep what's mine) Please don't come for me If you must then just please wait and let me have some time (let me have some time) Please don't come for me Mind over matter (it don't matter) when you're as mad as a hatter... VERSE 2: It's hard to draw a clear distinction Who you are, who you were Through the looking glass, the past and future begin to blur And no-one can blame you Well they say the world is what you make it You think, speak and breathe And those rules still apply, stuck in a world of make believe You make the best with what you're given... CHORUS: Please don't come for me I promise I'll be great Just let me keep what's mine. (let me keep what's mine) Please don't come for me If you must then just please wait and let me have some time (let me have some time) Please don't come for me Mind over matter (it don't matter) when you're mad as a hatter... OUTRO: Off with the head, off with the head... Paint the roses, paint the roses red... (repeat outro about 17x)

I first started seeing them years ago when their aunt a friend of mine, started sharing their videos on Facebook. Until this one though....this was that stand out song and performance for me! This is a good video, but less emotional for sure!

    I like the way the slide guitar is dominant in this audio mix. When I have watched the "cathedral" video of Mad As A Hatter", I felt Megan's supportive ,moody, slide guitar parts were too far down in the mix. So, thank you for this studio production that does an artistic, effective mix of images and instruments.

    Hey Julie, my Mom's battle with Alzheimers came to an end right before Thanksgiving. My uncle on her side passed a week before her from the same curse. Just know that the strength you got from her is part of who you are as well. For me, music is what keeps me going and knowing my family is not the only one facing this disease. The version of this song from the chappel really hit home. Value the time you have her and make it count. You need to find the grace and patience to be there as much as you can for her. Covid robbed our family of much of that time, so hopefully your time won't be as restricted. Peace and prayers.

    My great grandma had dementia. I remember visiting her in the rest home. She had a really tough time. I worry for my grandmother. My dad used to give sermons twice a month at a rest home and my siblings and I would go and play violin for the people there every once in a while. Some of those people were just awful. You could tell they had it big time. Always a very sad experience and a tough lesson, not only is life itself a gift, but health of body and health of mind, we ought not to waste it.
