VERSE 1: I know what time is, Time is a thief It'll steal into bed and rob you while you sleep And You'll never feel it It pulls off the covers, and rifles through your head Then you'll wait to find you can't remember what you just said... It happens to everyone... Just like the father of my father, time stole his mind And I can't forget that one-fourth of his blood is mine I try not to worry... CHORUS: Please don't come for me I promise I'll be great Just let me keep what's mine. (let me keep what's mine) Please don't come for me If you must then just please wait and let me have some time (let me have some time) Please don't come for me Mind over matter (it don't matter) when you're as mad as a hatter... VERSE 2: It's hard to draw a clear distinction Who you are, who you were Through the looking glass, the past and future begin to blur And no-one can blame you Well they say the world is what you make it You think, speak and breathe And those rules still apply, stuck in a world of make believe You make the best with what you're given... CHORUS: Please don't come for me I promise I'll be great Just let me keep what's mine. (let me keep what's mine) Please don't come for me If you must then just please wait and let me have some time (let me have some time) Please don't come for me Mind over matter (it don't matter) when you're mad as a hatter... Hey Julie, my Mom's battle with Alzheimers came to an end right before Thanksgiving. My uncle on her side passed a week before her from the same curse. Just know that the strength you got from her is part of who you are as well. For me, music is what keeps me going and knowing my family is not the only one facing this disease. The version of this song from the chappel really hit home. Value the time you have her and make it count. You need to find the grace and patience to be there as much as you can for her. Covid robbed our family of much of that time, so hopefully your time won't be as restricted. Peace and prayers.

My great grandma had dementia. I remember visiting her in the rest home. She had a really tough time. I worry for my grandmother. My dad used to give sermons twice a month at a rest home and my siblings and I would go and play violin for the people there every once in a while. Some of those people were just awful. You could tell they had it big time. Always a very sad experience and a tough lesson, not only is life itself a gift, but health of body and health of mind, we ought not to waste it.

Really love this. One of the few I haven't seen. These ladies deserve so much more-as in recognition.
So happy I found this

Even more hauntingly beautiful in this live performance at the Convent Club. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lnt5zMSDm9usmNY.html
I like them a lot. I think they take many songs to a new level. Hugs
One of my favourite songs. Truly emotional and beautiful
Beautiful and such a double meaning to myself. Thank you my friends. XXX
Thanks for the song. I love it because it is so true, for all people.
What a incredible emotional track, And so true The girls really put there soul and feelings in to it 💕💕
Here again! I can't help myself, it's simple as that!
Keep it girls just love your music😍👍✌️👌🇨🇦🇨🇦
It's nice to hear something fresh
Sad song/ beautiful video. This sister duo remind me of Heart. One sister with the big voice great for lead and adaptable to various styles of music. The other an incredibly talented guitar player with a slightly softer voice prefect for harmonizing and hitting notes in a different register. Ty BR for the suggestion☺.
Love it when y'all do this... and love the make-up, it's different This tune (yours) seems like it could be the main recurring theme for some crazy psycho-drama movie... So well played and shot... I dunna understand why so few views (!) Wake up world! (and thanx for posting)
Love these ladies and this song is my favorite of theirs for sure very haunting
Smashing - - love this rendition too. Thanks for posting the VID.
BEAUTIFUL !!! .... the song too
Now this is damn good! Would like more in this style ....
I love this, the entire body and vibe vibe, wow. Your story line on the inspiration on your live performance. totally dig it
this touch,s you deep in your soul.
Thanks, I appreciate the way your put one of the stories of many of our lives into song. May you receive blessing for speaking the truth. A truth that needs to be told , understood, and appreciated for what it is.
Truly fantastic in every way: content, tone, imagery, musicianship, harmony... and to be fair, it doesn't hurt that the ladies are attractive in addition to being talented! The whole package!
What a song! Great performance - as well as wonderful simple. It comforts me remembering my parents.
This song needs to be on a soundtrack!
Superb song, beautiful arrangement

What's L&B?
Beautiful!
You are simply great. I‘m a fan of yours and I am very looking forward to your concert in Cologne. What I especially like about this video is not only the quality but the fact that now that you are successful you release a video with an old song of yours which is not likely to cheer the audience. Suffering from depression I just want to say thank you.
Magnifique !!!
Amazing song!!!!
This video is controversial. Riveting, but controversial. Thank you for posting.
Ich liebe diesen Song ❤ Grüße aus Deutschland
You girls are amazing!
Wow...wonderful
Great song!

The world needs to discover them!
Bellísimo!!
Wow! Its more than atmospheric!
Amazing!
Sweet!
I also saw the cathedral one, I asked them on facebook if they would ever redo the song. Now that I see it, I agree, I like the other better. Love Larkin Poe, one of my favs.
just wow
a very cool Song ✌☻☮
i REALLY LIKED THIS VERSION OF THIS SONG. BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY VERY NICE
Cool. This song got me from the get-go. Title probably describes a lot of us during Pandemic Daze 2020. Be safe when wearing large animal skulls--the rough edges can do a number on you.
crazy good
Wow! Very cool video, why have I never seen this before...?
Awesome
yes. YES.
Vocal arrangement is so grand
Me encantan las hermanas. Son muy talentosas. Aunque debo decir que la mayor es una pasada, como vocalista y como música
Really nice
great
wow Amazing
Well... I'm happy now... Thank You...
Bravissime è dir poco. Rappresentate in effetti l'essenza della musica stramegabrave. 😘
thanks
My family has a lot of problems with mental issues. I have to take massive amounts of bynadryll to get through everyday and it's affecting my memory heavily. I never realized how tangible my fears with it are until I heard this song. Keep it up gals. Not a fan of your other music bit I thank y'all for this song
💖
Wow...poignant and beautiful at the same time.
Hey and absolutely includes me 😍
Dzięki SK
Good Job!
Круті дівчата!
