nussmatthew1 yes but statistically they have a higher chance of having more talented people like Kiril Pkrovsky (Mozart of game music). It makes you wonder what kind of people blizz hires in game music department.

@@nussmatthew1 I would rather think the amount of creatives rising would mean the amount of creativity happening lowering. In my experience as a producer of dance music and classical pianist I find that every creative wants their stamp on the project which makes for a lot of personality clashes happening.

Borislav Slavov is the composer of Divinity: Original Sin 2 with some tracks paying homage to Kirill. Kirill is the composer for all the prior Divinity games from Divine Divinity to Divinity: Original Sin.

R.I.P. He was a true master :(

In the literal sense and in the figurative. He worked in russian rock-group "Master" since 1987-1991. I recommend you his songs "Ещё раз ночь" ("One more night") and "Семь кругов ада" ("Seven circles of hell"). He was a genius. R.I.P.

I think it's awesome that new people are still discovering his works after he moved on! He would have like that.

I listened alot to his music the last two years and hoped i could watch him live in the future. Today i looked him up online and i felt really heartbrokena learning he passed away earlier this year... Rip Kirill.

first 5: 1) Divinity 1 - Main Theme 2) Divinity 2 - Beach / Sentinel Island 3) Divinity 2 - Fly, Dragon Fly / Dragon Battle 4) Divinity 1 - Drunk with Dwarven Mirth 5) Divinity 2 - Ballad / Slavic I can't place the ones after, although a couple of them sounded familiar. Could be just in my head, they did say I think at some point that Kirill was going to perform music from Original Sin.

105 hours of this game and still didn't get fed up with this beautiful music. Used to go to the End of Time just to listen to Mysterious Guest (20:39). Thx a lot Kirill for your wonderfull musical gifts. Rest in Peace, lots of thoughts for your family and friends.

I do miss this guy. Borislav is good, but Kirill was truly unique. He gave the old Divinity games a flavor for which there is truly no substitute.

The feels... Your legacy will live on through your creations. I was instantly sold on how amazing D:OS (and the music) was gonna be as soon as the menu loaded with the theme you composed. Absolutely amazing.

22:55 I felt so bad for Kirill lol. In that brief moment his face sank like he felt terrible for ruining the stream and game funding. Then I felt better when he laughed it off. Such an amazing musician I always find myself listening to his music now. He set the bar so high for other composers.

Same here, lol. And I totally agree with you. Kirill was a genius. I love every single one of his masterpieces, especially the Divine Divinity main theme. It's truly a shame that he had to die. :(

@@1199vlados увы, полностью не соглашусь. Музыка Борислава не запомнилась мне ни разу. Попросите меня напеть боеву, не боевую музыку из первой, так я вам все напою, как смогу. Попросите меня напеть из второй и я спрошу: там была музыка? Во второй части у меня час был бой. ЦЕЛЫЙ ЧАС и я не помню, играли ли там вообще музыка.

Mr. Pokrovsky not only created exceptionally great music for this game series, but seeing him perform just give me the impression of that he is the kind of person everyone loves. :) Great video!

When "Slavic" first played in Divinity 2: Ego Draconis I stopped playing and just stared astounded at the screen, and it popping up in this concert at 12:42 had the same impact on me. I stopped playing the game I was otherwise heavily invested in and just watched a master at work.

Thanks again for this concert .... New kickstarter, and your name, I will never forget. I know, you can't read it now, but the though is in.

Listening to this concert for the 10th time. It's just so good.

Larian has the best game music Composers. Slavov is Great, Pokrovsky was (IMHO) the Mozart of the video game music.

I enjoyed it alot!! lot's of respect for mr. Pokrovsky and Larian Studios to make time for us gamers! wish i could be at the live concert/party.

Yeahhhh!! We are almost there guys!!!! I can already smell the live orchestra to sweat together with Kirill by the recordings of this great music! Just go for it! I'd be so happy if we could give a milion! Go go goooo.....

He now has a new home in the ether for us to enjoy for a long time to come!

That was awesome. Larian put more effort into their Kickstarter than any other company I've seen gathering funds this way. Kudos.

I learned conducting with his track "champions" from DD II ED in my time at university. good memories. good thing is: I cannot miss him as a person, because I never knew him, neither can I miss his music, beause it lives forever :)

When you were here, we never knew how much you'd mean to us when you're gone. RIP, you legendary soul.

This guy made some great tracks befitting of a whimsical, dreamy adventure.
