For the none musicians, Vinne (drums), Greg (keyboard), Nathan (bass guitar), it is important to not that these three musicians are the very best of their respective fields. To get these three cats as your rhythm section with the song writer of one of the best songs ever to play on your album, DAMN! This is a musical treat of epic proportions that should be really appreciated not just for the musicality, but just how beautiful this song really is.

Perfectly noticed and said, @adreghouse9192! It's ’cats’ of this very caliber that create "pocket" the minute they get together and play the chart! To imagine that many times they won't have known the song beforehand, never heard it and _still come up with greatness right on the spot_ - whoa! It's not until now, some decades later that I've been more active in the field myself that I fully appreciate the insane level of mastery they bring to each recording session, live gig, concert. The best of the best, indeed! (as were the likes of Larry Carlton, Steve Lukather, the late Jeff Porcaro, John "JR " Robins and a number of them more. Incredible they'd come up with greatness every time they got booked)

100% - how blessed are we with "your love" with Vinnie on the drums and top notch bassists

Siedah now gets to sing her song with a world-class band. Vinnie, Greg and Nathan are legends. What a treat! Everyone was very laid back. Perfection.

Sad thing is that majority of MJ fans that are non musicians would scoff at the fact he didnt write it. Most fans always think the artist writes 100% of their own stuff and had no help from anyone else. More so today with any artist. Oh how I miss the inner sleeve credits of everyone involved in an album versus streaming.

As an aspiring musician, watching these geniuses perform at the pinnacle of their respective crafts, is inspiring. There are so many lessons taught here. The video and audio production are stellar, and shooting in black and white made it visual perfection. Lari, thank you for your take on this epoch song.

@@asor8037 I am glad that you ask that question. The answer is 'no'. Until someone starts glorifying that no-name guy. The superlatives, in the music world, are significantly relative, I believe. Too often I read «she is the best singer in the world». Best compared to whom ? Taylor Swift the 'best singer in the world' ?! Really ?! We can certaily admire how those musicians serve the song and especially the rhythmic vitality of the song. On that note, I am still waiting to get an answer from those to whom I've asked to tell me how well the keyboardist had done in that specific excerpt of the album... apart from letting us know unequivocally that he is from the West Coast...

If you haven't heard them yet you may want to check out Leonid & Friends. Their covers of songs by Chicago and Earth , Wind & Fire are stunning. I would reccomend Beginnings and After The Love Has Gone to start with. Truly jaw dropping. Oh i forgot to mention they're all from Russia & the Ukraine.
