Compare the size of the wave to the surfer.... A mind blowing example of mother nature's power and one man's guts in surfing it.

@@Vkgets No - the moon affects tides - ocean swells/ waves are caused by wind over water - like when you blow into a bowl of soup - big waves are groundswell generated by storms in open ocean - the swell has a circular energy and in deep water mostly under the surface as it approaches shore and bottom becomes shallower it pushes that energy until it can no longer sustain itself and it breaks
Unbelievable breathtaking adventurous record by this superhuman. Let him flow like a wave. ⚡⚡💙💙💙💙

Haven't even seen a wave that big, let alone surf one.
Love to see the drone footage on this wave simply amazing.
I’m speechless. There’s no words to explain how intense that was. Any normal person who would fall into that wave would not survive dude. The only thing comparable to this is snowbaoarding in front of a damn avalanche chasing after you. Like what in the fuvk was he thinking. Talk about go big or go home someone give this man a medal of honor

Absolutely, bro. I was thinking about that the whole time I was watching him. It would have been a miracle for him to survive if he fell, even as skilled and fit as he is. That's hundreds of tons.

@@valdemort7983 There is a chance of death, but surfers surf this wave every year because there are surfing competitions there, they fall into the water several times and surfers using jet skis rescue them. These waves are in Nazaré - Portugal if you want to see more.

The magnificent power of the ocean & the skills to ride this monster is remarkable 👏

I believe riding a wave of that magnitude and jumping on a bull (although its only for 8 seconds) has got to be the biggest adrenaline rush and intense feeling that a human being can experience!!! I bet your cahonas would feel like they were up in your throat!!
