Poor little dear she sounded scared. 😢 Good Learning experience, but broke my heart to hear them scared. You are both extremely brave. ❤

This is Summer I manage this channel also. I never felt like I was in danger. One point after it went by our location felt very sad thinking the town was getting hit. I was worried about the people.

I found out that the outbreak started right about this time. Saw that Omaha got hit, and I started looking at the storms on a radar app on my phone. Even with the low resolution of the app I use, that hook was obvious. Scrolling in, I saw it was right on Blair. It's a place I'd never heard of before, but it still was sad to see that in real time and know that a lot of families likely just lost their homes, livelihoods, and maybe even their lives right then.

Thank God on this day no one in Blair or Nebraska lost their life. Unfortunately the same day/same storms a 64 year old man from Minden Iowa did loss his life.

I don't know if you kept going on 133 north. It crossed over 133 at CO rd 34. We live right there. Our house was fine but neighbors all around us had roof, garage, barn to total loss. They are fascinating with their power but I hate them and the devastation they cause. The best thing I can say about this is that I have met the best people. So many volunteers from right here to out of state and the people that suffered losses are so kind! Love and prayers to all!

Glad you are ok and the people around you. They are fun to watch until they get out of control and head residential. You probably heard me say this isn't fun.

I agree with everyone else. Love the commentary. More time to examine the images we're seeing. Great job to you both.

Also, why are tornadoes getting bigger? These this year really seem a lot larger. I live in Eastern Oklahoma. Sulphur, Oklahoma was hit a day ago. My heart goes out to that entire town. ♥️

Omaha was nearly wiped out by a massive F5 tornado in 1975. I'm not sure they are getting any bigger. Whenever you have warm, moist air colliding with a cold front, you can have storms. What may be changing is that more and more open country is being developed into suburbs, so the storms are impacting more structures and people.

This is the first real bad tornado outbreak this year. Last year was crazy immediately in January. They aren’t getting bigger. You just think they are.

They aren't, some are big some aren't. 2013 was the 2.5mile wide one.. and we havnt had an ef5 since 2013

They really aren't. In reality, we've had fewer massive tornadoes and EF5s over the past decade. The reason why we don't hear about the ones in the past and the damage that has occurred is because it doesn't work well with the climate change alarmists narrative.

Good question. We both have helmets. She has a Snell DOT cert motorcycle helmet with Scott brand snowmobile goggles. Bike helmets are a little flimsy. At minimum I would recommend a snowboard helmet.
