As an artist im blown away intrigued and inspired.....I had an idea and feeling what this was gonna look like and was just amazed what it actually ended looking like....I pain a little bit im not very good I prefer to draw or do ink but watching this man and his technique I was so inspired just to do what I've been feeling been calling me for a while now....rather than draw something on canvas and try to fill in with paint after just go and put down your feeling on the canvas and just keep adding to it and a vision will appear and direction will be presented...very cool video and amazing artist

The way I paint I had always called it halfstract because it seemed abstract but also something youd see for real slightly squinting or realistic dreaming or waking up to. This seems like a great example of that. Abstract but entirely based in reality. I love it.

This is SO COOL, and as a representational landscape painter who paints small and loves me some abstracted nature, this painting is not only glorious in its complete departure from what I can do, but it looks like a complete BLAST to paint. I honestly envy painters (in a good way) that can pull off successful abstracts; despite what the lay public thinks, it is MUCH harder to do than a tightly rendered painting.
