Can this style be done without putting gel straight on the scalp? Unless it's natural flaxseed gel, wouldn't that prevent moisture and growth oils from penetrating the hair follicles?
@ulibiabeautyempire
Жыл бұрын
This gel is programmed to not only hold but to condition your hair. It’s not edge control. This gel was formulated with castor oil. If you’re worried about it causing build up worry not cause it won’t. It melts right into the hair and scalp as you can see no white residue. But if you have not a 4c hair type you can use any gel that can sleek your hair down before braiding. So yes you can use flaxseed gel if it works for you 🫶🏽

How old is your little girl? Large Knotless braids can last upto 4 weeks with proper maintenance. Mind you toddlers play a lot hence it’s quite difficult for their hairstyle to last that long.

Thank you for taking out time to watch and leave a comment i do appreciate that. I was neither being hard nor pushing my client’s head. But I get it you must have seen it from that angle because I fast forwarded most part to shorten the video. I mean, no one wants to sit hours watching video on how to do large Knotless braids, that will be boring right. And I went in with a big comb before going in with small comb if not so, a small comb can never pass through a thick 4c hair like that). With that being said she was really happy with the service and even bought one of our hair products “Magic Edge” Edge Control. I have a very gentle hand I make hair for my baby (currently 12 months) and she doesn’t cry) 😃. And I have been doing this for more than 15 years. I am all for promoting healthy hair.
