Oddly it's moored at the southern entrance to Naval Station Everett, but the land appears to be Port of Everett.

Yep, and there’s a floating dry dock on the opposite side of the pier.

MV *_Balsa 94_* is a 106.33 m general cargo ship, which is relatively huge until you see it compared to the *_Dali_* at 299.92 meters, which seems huge, but isn't even in the top 15 largest container ships. Amazing! Also amazing is how quickly and ahead of schedule the clean-up has been!

Motor Yacht Opera is beautiful

I can just see the crew member filling in forms to register each of the tenders and he/she has used the prime MMSI number on each form believing that was the correct way to do it!

It's quite usual for a yacht northbound on the US west coast to go well offshore for reasons pertaining to currents and prevailing winds, and maybe some hazards to navigation.

Imagine you had a package on one of the containers waiting to be delivered, I’d be well pissed off at this stage.

Question: with the USA government having seized Amadea pending resolutiuon of the court process, would the USA be able to rent the boat to reduce its losses during this period? Any precedent done by other countries? or is the boat stritcly just maintained with required maintenance only?

For me I just Registered my ( Uniden) Portable VHF and not my small boats main VHF. Why I did this was. The portable radio is always on my main boat. Say I was sinking and I sent out my signal The main vessel is sunk with main radio If I am in water with my portable VHF. The Coast Guard can find me. The portable is eater proof 😊 thats why I just registered the portable radio.

I surmise the chef might end up more than injured going after the US govt in court.

That "large" cargo ship (a 'bulk' cargo carrier) looks pretty small next to the Dali. The MV Dali was considered a smaller variety of the newest container ships. You could have put 5 of that passing cargo ship on top of the Dali. I dont think this represents a "fully opened" channel for Baltimore Harbor. Come on let's be real.
