Larenz Tate deserves more credit and recognition. He gave us so many great performances in black cinema especially in the '90's.

tamron is 52?!?! that's insane. Even though Larenz looks young I know he has to be close to 50 because Love Jones was back in the 90s, but never would have guess Tamron is in her 50s. I though mid 30s

Lorenz has good youthful genes. He still looks 17 years old, and we never heard anything negative about him. He's beautiful.

I met Larenz Tate, years ago while working at the Grand Lux’ Cafe in Chicago. He was so very kind, humble, friendly and very handsome and still is! Congrats Mr Tate! 👏🏾🎉

I can't believe it was 26 years ago?!! Damn how time flies so fast!!! One of my favorite love movies of all time. Especially the chemistry between Larenz and Nia left me breathless. Larenz Tate still fine as hell and haven't changed a thing!! I wish love was like real in today's world. That's why I'm still single and picky about my standards. Guess I still enjoy love myself like I always do!!!

I would love a Love Jones part 2 that shows where Nina and Darius are now. Maybe they got married and drifted apart but something happens in their lives that brings them back stronger than ever. Or maybe they went their separate ways but a chance meeting brings them back together and the sparks fly. As long as it has the Love Jones feel, it would be awesome to see the other cast too and where there characters are in their lives: Isaiah Washington, Bill Belamy, Lisa Nicole Carson, and Khalil Kain. But then, maybe Love Jones is one of those sacred movies that should stand on its own.

Let the record show: Love Jones is my favorite movie, PERIODT!!! Numero UNO! 😍 I can't even count how many times I have watched it.When it came out on VHS, yes, VHS, I did not go to work that day. I was a brand new teacher. I called in sick and was at Hollywood Video at 10 a.m. when they opened. Now, I own the DVD and stream it, too. Reminds me of how my daughter used to watch the same Disney movies and other childhood movies over and over. Too funny!😛

Beautiful poem and "Love Jones" is the best romantic comedy movie of ALL TIME! My favorite part is when Mia was talking to her best friend in the cab about her first date with Darius. While at the same time, Darius was talking to his best friend at the pool table about it too. Makes me laugh every time!! And Larenz's skin is flawless.....

STILL GOT IT

There was a period when everytime I heard Loves Jones on the radio, I had to go pop in the VHS tape.

I look up to Larenz Tate like a big brother. Especially in Menace 2 society as O- Dogg. Of course I loved "Love Jones" and it's crazy it's 26 years since the Classic time flying ✈️. But I feel like "Dead Presidents" is a highly underrated film, and "Why do fools fall in love" he deserved an award for both films. Im grateful to have been a witness to his Greatness as a actor and growth as a Person. Lastly, Pac pose to been in Menace and Larenz Tate was a big 2pac fan as well he couldn't wait to work with Pac. I think him and Larenz would've been dope together on film

This man is one of the most beautiful man on earth since more than 20 years and it seems to me he will hold this title for all his life. It's crazy to see him still so highly beautiful after all these years.

I have been a fan of Larenz ever since the movie "The Inkwell" when he was only 19. What a talented Actor even at that age.
