    Am I the only one that wishes they would get on with it? Who could be grateful for alcoholism gave them? Passive aggression, cold heart. . really

    It's gratitude for the change in dealing with it that it brings. An attitude if gratitude changes your heart towards your circumstances. Of course active alcoholism for the family is a nightmare.

    I see the gift as, if we didnt have alcoholism in ourselves or our families, we would have never found the program and learned all that we did
