Jennie H. - Family Recovery Speaker - "Be Yourself, Be Magnificent"

LOVE this share by Jennie H. She has a wonderful laugh, and an even better story. This share is very entertaining as well as carries the depth and weight of the Al-Anon program.
Al-Anon / Alateen, known as Al-Anon Family Groups, is an international "fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems." They "help families of alcoholics by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic."

It is absolutely delightful to listen to this woman! Jennie's beautiful, and joyously funny spirit, is infectious. My heart was lifted. I have listened to her before, and am certain that I will listen again. Thank you, Alanon, for giving all members a platform upon which we can be 100% real with ourselves, our God (as we understood Him), as well as each other.

I loved her perspective. If you can’t laugh yet keep coming back it will show up some day if you’re lucky.
