After you you got log(s+a)-log(s+b) | s to infinity you could have set in infinity and s so you get: infinity - infinity - log(s+a) + log(s+b) which is log(s+b/s+a). Or am i wrong?

yes it is minus and by log rule that minus sign got absorbed in log., as result of it we have exchanged Numerator and Denominator. Hope you got it.
