Romance languages in general are beautiful to hear. There's some kind of "musical rhythm" in them, like Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Romanian, Catalan. I think it is about the prominence of vowels and the clarity of how they are pronunced. No wonder why many people answered French and a few mentioned Italian and Portuguese.

I honestly agree with those saying French. French flows beautifully as a spoken language, it’s like the words are designed to fit together without unnecessary breaks in speech. That is something that you don’t see in Germanic languages or in English. Saying that, I tried to learn French, failed miserably, and am now happily learning Swedish, and find it beautiful as well! I’m actually really excited to start speaking Swedish more fluently and hope that it’ll help me start to learn Norwegian!

So thanks!! Jeg har lært så mye takket være deg🧡

Yes, Slavic languages are difficult to tackle. It takes us, native speakers of them, on average from 10 to 14 years to master them. We have quite complex grammar. ut Russian isn't the hardest since all exceptions are neatly organized in groups. Whereas for example in Polish exceptions are not organized in any way, so they just have to be memorized and language has to be spoken the way it's spoken and that's it. And this is of course involves a lot of memorizing and a lot of speaking and following error and trial method along the way.

@@femmeNikita27 What th' heck man?! 10 years to master one of these languages? Slavic languages aren't extremely difficult to tackle for a C level, it's literally the same stuff for any other language on earth to speak, listen, memorize etc. excessively. You could master any language of your choice from a range of 1-2 years of consistency. sorry if i got u wrongly from what u meant.

@@FabiusStephanus russian just has a lot of grammatical rules and exceptions that you need to memorise. and stressing syllables while speaking can also be quite peculiar in some words. even we, russians, almost always make small mistakes in our daily writing/talking, and we like to say that we are constantly learning our own language throughout our whole lives. it's just so much more simple to avoid mistakes in english, so that's why we say russian is a hard language to learn. but, of course, it all varies from one person to another
