Here is a little bit of insight on how you could correct that little introductory text! "C'est un petit livre pour écrire au sujet de mon progrès avec la langue française. A présent, je peux un petit peu parler cette langue, mais je veux pouvoir parler avec des gens français." Some little things to keep in mind: -When you are using a phrase that includes multiple consecutive verbs, like for instance "I can speak" or "I want to be able to speak", the first verb is usually the conjugated one, while the next one is left in its infinitive form. That's why you get "je peux (conjugated) parler (infinitive)" and "je veux (conjugated) pouvoir (infinitive) parler (infinitive)." -An interesting fact when using words regarding nationalities. You only need to capitalize the word if it is being used as a noun, that is, if you are referring to people as "the French", you would need to write "les Français." However, if the same word is used as an adjective, as in "this French bakery", you would need to write "cette boulagerie française." (I hope that made sense.) In French, vidéo is feminine, so it’s « bienvenue à ma nouvelle vidéo ». Lovely video! Keep it up! ^^

I may take you up on that in a couple of months :) I feel like my current absence of vocabulary wouldn't be very helpful so I want to try to expand that a bit further first

Just say : "hello/salut/coucou les gens!"

Thank you! I don't think I've heard the word coucou before, it sounds like the Dutch koekoek, which means something like peek-a-boo.
