    Endlich mal jemand, der das Lied nicht nur als Anfängerstück betrachtet. Denn auch wenn viele Anfänger es zuerst lernen wollen, es ist wie Lang Lang sagte ein Meisterwerk und gehört absolut nicht in die Anfänger Ecke.

    Wahre Worte. Das Stück wird häufig zu emotionslos gespielt, einfach runter gerasselt. Es ist zwar, wie ich finde, eher ein leicht zu spielendes Stück, dem man aber an manchen Stellen, wie Lang sagt, mehr Aufmerksamkeit schenken sollte. Danke Lang, für dieses Interview über Beethovens "Für Elise"!

    Agree that this piece has to be played with feather-light fingers. It needs a soft yet distinct approach to it.

    I jealous.. but that’s for his hard work and effort and love he puts into it.. sometimes there is a justifiable reason to respect a artist and when it’s comes to classical music and jazz I respect it very much.. it’s not my favorite music in the world.. “sorry forgive my lack of culture on that behalf “ but the talent, hard work and skill it’s taken to master is something I glad would bow my head to in respect for..

    I love beethoven especially 7th and 9th symps...but fur elise was normal and if it was created by someone in our time it wouldnt get that attention

    How do you know? It sounds like a lighter section as opposed to the darker, "mysterious" part he referred to. Other upbeat versions have reinterpreted and virtually destroyed it's mostly melancholic meaning simply for the sake of putting their own spin on it.

    Yeah and majority of people aren't music student. I have played piano for 8 years, this was the first song I learned and I don't play like this.

    He is too much into "interpretation" and sometimes it annoys me. He is very judgemental of other pianists, and maybe playing most parts with a delicate touch is not all that great. He is a great pianist but his attitude irks me.
