The best Demo of the amp i have seen so far !

My old Laney VH100r was the most versatile and best sounding amplifier I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned and I’ve owned scores of great amps. Also.. It weighed a bloody! 💪🏾😎🎸

VH 100R with TS as boost at orange channel, I played metal using Ibanez RG this way back in 2003-2005, sounds killer for leads, them mids really cut through! My partner played Randall for rhythm.

Sounds amazing.

I love my amp. My transformer blew a while ago so I put a mercury magnetics in it and holy shit. It will blow your nuts off. Not to mention I play super heavy down tuned with 2 splawn 4x12s. Not to brag but it kills my back

I have this amp. It was hard to get q good sound out of it, but I think it was a user problem that the amp itself. I have to say that I was that happiest guitar player in the world one day that I tested it with two 4x12 cabs and the hotplate purple, master at 7. Then I felt In love. But it is too heavy to move it around. I end up changing the tubes and using tuve adaptors to low the wats to 15wats. But I recently lear that If I only use two of the power amps the ohms changes in the output so, the 1x12 cab I end up using, was plugged in the wrong speaker output :). Conclusion, I think the amp is great for the price, but you have to not be stupid and learn how to use it :). Mea culpa. I don't have it withe because is to heavy to move it outside of Spain. Now I am a bedroom player with a fender mustang micro... Life changes

it would be easier if you did clean for el34 and then immediately for 6l6, crunch and high gain also😢 I have to search now the exact same settings for one, then other tubes... how would you describe the difference while playing?

Saw your question in another video...just double checking, the reverb on this on its really quiet even when all the way up.

@@jalaskabtu since that unit houses a regular spring reverb tank, shouldn't be that hard to replace it.

@@marleysheredder do you think is the tank size? Maybe the circuit limit amont of springness? My jcm900 has a super tine tank an has better reverb.

@@jalaskabtu Good question, I'm not sure that It could be related to tank size, since, as you said, small tanks can deliver large tails...In my assumption, I tend to believe that they gone for narrow settings in the internal reverb springs or any other hardware factor that a better quality tank could overcome. I do believe that any seasoned tech could replace it with ease.
