I used to have a GH50L and matching 4x12 with 25 watt Greenbacks. It was an incredible amp! It’s what Marshall should have done with the JCM900. I now have a GH30R-112 and love it as well. It’s got almost the same high gain as the GH50L I used to own, but is more versatile, imo. The ability to push the power amp tubes makes a HUGE difference in tone: thicker, more bottom end, less fizzy.
