Laney AudioHub Series Multi Instrument Amplifiers - Awesome Multi Instrument Amps for all Settings!

Музыка

Meg and Dagan took a visit down to Laneys HQ in the UK Midlands a few months back and in this particular video Meg is taking a detailed look at the Laney AH Series of Multi Instrument Amplifiers!
The Laney Audiohub combo series is designed to give musicians the optimum performance, flexibility and sound quality for any given audio application. Audiohub's key trait is their versatility, true to their name Audiohubs perform equally well with keyboards, electronic drums, vocals, acoustic and electric string instruments as well as regular audio playback.
Available as the AH40, AH80, AH150, AH300 and the AH-Freestyle, these versatile, powerful multi instrument amplifiers really do live up to their name. Whether you are looking for a smaller acoustic amplifier for your pub or cafe gigs or if you're looking for a higher output speaker for your bigger live shows, or a stage wedge monitor for your fold back sound.
The principle behind the Audiohub range is simple: ALL INSTRUMENTS WELCOME! Audiohub combos deliver optimum performance, flexibility and sound quality for a wide array of audio inputs: Keyboards, e-drums, mics, acoustic and electric instruments and playback are all at home with an Audiohub combo.

Is the mic input, phantom powered? Could I plug a second mic into the stereo input or elsewhere?

What does line out - pre/post mean? When we send the sound to the main PA of the venue, do we use pre or post out?

Meg, what amp do you choose for your own gigs? Do you use Laney (if so, which amp), or something different?

Yes absolutely! The awesome thing about these amps is they've been designed with several instruments in mind, with the correct EQ settings they would handle a bass well. Hope that's helpful!

Delay but no reverb? No EQ for each channel?

With the first strum of the guitar it was easy to know that it was Meg. The music you played was good. Keep it up. The line out sound is great, but people don't listen to line out sound live. They listen to the speakers. Are the speakers so bad that Laney only allowed line out sounds? Return to their location and do it again with room mics. Where was the AH 4X4? Those were battery powered and 35 watts? Have they been discontinued? How can 5 watts be loud enough for street performing? I'd really like to hear one and compare it to the next level up.
