So how do u become a reviewer fir there tools
Charge the battery then make a review. They gave it to u for free at least give them a proper review
I've been running the hell out of mine for almost a year. I haven't sharpened them yet although it probably couldn't hurt, they are still pretty sharp. The 9 amp battery lasts forever in the hedge trimmers. I use fluid film spray to lubricate the blades about once an hour if I'm just trimming hedges or every half an hour If I'm brush hogging and abusing it. This machine can take it. I have the whole m18 garden line up with the exception of the blower. I would like to mention that the string trimmer overheats if its ran hard in hot weather. I've overheated the chainsaw a few times but it doesn't have nearly as big of a problem with it as the string trimmer. I have gas for those occasions. I still do love the string trimmer for lighter duty work and honestly its got a good amount of power but has that overheating issue I mentioned. I used to have the m18 blower and its pretty weak compared to some other cordless options out there. Blowers are probably where cordless lacks the most in power and run time but they can really come in handy for smaller properties. People wont mind when you work and about 1/4 the noise as the gas guys.

Are both blades sharp or is the bottom blade a block.
I know I’m late but I’m back on another video! Just got a whole line of these tools for the same m18 tools. Really impressed my first client yesterday on my first job on my 30th birthday! Meant a lot that I and the tools performed well and absolutely did! Glad to have em
I'm with ya, last company I worked for just started using the stihl brand electric hedge trimmers and it changed my life... you have to try the extendable pole style hedge clipper and get off that ladder... or at least cut the ladder time in half!
I'm getting me self that tool yaaaaaa. Getting a 130 foot hedge installed in 2 weeks. Thanks for the vid.
Milwaukee sends you tools and you know so little. How do I get in on that?

Tim Engle start a you tube channel and film hundreds of hours of landscape work and reach a large audience of people who can relate to you and generally like listening to how you present. Do tons of cross posting advertising for you company and you tube brand. Then go to tons of trade shows and speak to the sales reps and visit the facilities and if you are lucky and on a good path, someone may throw you a piece of equipment just because they know it will be good for business. Chances are if you have already built a little bit of a reputation for yourself, only quality companies will want your business. Just my opinion though. Thanks for the videos Keith!

He didn't realize the batteries have a power gauge 😂
I've used the Shindiawa 24 in trimmer. It's blades are coated with hard chrome and they don't hold the sap as a non coated blade. I've been very pleased with this trimmer, and I've done a lot of trimming. In fact I've worn our one set of blades and ordered a second set. But be careful replacing the blades. The yoke has small needle bearings some dropped out and I couldn't find them. Now I have all white paper under my unit in case some fall out, but I have learned to not lift off the yoke and chance losing the bearings. A new yoke cost me $60.
Great review. Always been a Milwaukee guy. Never been a fan of electric yard tools. Though their newer batteries have me convinced they're ready for the task 👌👌👌
STIHL vs Milwaukee head to head of the top brands imo
The Battery that came with the Hedge Trimmers is a High Output battery. So the other battery from your light will not put as much power as it should be running.

So that means you gotta go spend another hundred dollars for a battery
I have this. Its a beast!Actually got it free when I bought the string trimmer for 299.00 with 9 amp battery.Milwaukee Rocks!
My quick lock power head and all attachments survived my little giant going through my back window when I went off a cliff. That was a good enough test for me. 10/10
I'm from the uk mate and I have both the same hedge trimmers as you showed in the video, I found the same thing, it was less strain on your arms and shoulders, if you haven't already give them a go on a ladder and you'll really see the difference, but truthfully i know the stihl has a much cleaner cut, loving the vids mate

Landscaping Employee Trap & Window Cleaning Hey Keith why don't you send me a set. Looks killer.
I bought the tool only for $200 bucks so far I’m happy. But yea they are heavy.
To expand on how Milwaukee tools withstand being dropped I worked on large natural gas compressors and at least 3 times by accident I dropped my m18 fuel 3/8 impact off the top of a 30ft tall compressor on to gravel and it never missed a beat Milwaukee is amazing quality on all their tools, my m18 impact impressed my co workers so much they stopped carrying dewalt tools and started carrying Milwaukee
Nice video. I just bought one and am awaiting delivery. I have a gas one, but tired of the noise and fumes and mixing oil and gas. I have quite a few of the Milwaukee M18 toys and think they're great.

Are you still liking your M18 hedge trimmer?
I don't know if this is a stupid question or not, BUT- do you know if you can change the blade size on the Stihl HS45? I just bought one off craigslist and it has the 24" blades & bar and was wanting something more like 18". Is it possible swap all that out, or is each machine designed specifically for a certain size?
It works so freaking awesome I love mine I whacked so much shrubs yesterday bad part is I got a pick it all up today… cuts Like a hot knife through butter it is like effortless
I have to get one, I’ve got the leaf blower and line trimmer,,, it’s just for around my house, so it’s perfectThe leaf blower is not super powerful, but is enough, I absolutely love the line trimmer. One charge was definitely more than enough for my place, I have 7 acres with 1 1/2 acre I would call my yard
I was between the echo hc-152, and those stihl trimmers, and i went with the more affordable echos. HEAVY! shoukd have bought the stihl.
People misunderstand electric motors to gas motors. Electric can actually put out more power. People are skeptical, but I’ve personally seen Makita 18 volt chainsaws out cut Stihl chainsaws of same size in head to head. Electric has came along way.
good video!! after you test it on the jobs..can you do another review??? I like Milwaukee tools they stand behind their product and have excellent customer service!!
I just bought the battery powered trimmer with the M 18 battery and I got a hedger attachment free which was $180 worth. And I just bought a Huska Varna gas trimmer right before this Milwaukee battery powered trimmer and let me tell you what that Husqvarna was absolute junk the line was like paper and to wind it was an absolute nightmare this Milwaukee is so far incredible
@kimchee94112

My Husqvarna trimmer was pretty good, but it died on the second gas fill. Don't think wasn't even broken in. Yes fresh gas and correct mix ratio. My problem is Husqvarna refused to repair under warranty providing some chicken schiff excuse. Should have purchased a Stihl instead, never buy another Husqvarna again.
@keithkalfas, have you tried the EGO trimmer and how does it compare? I have an ego string trimmer and I find the battery heavy. I have Milwaukee and ego so I'm just trying to figure out which way to go

As I watched this a Milwaukee Ad popped up under this video 🤔
I didnt go with Milwaukee even though it was my first choice for battery hedge trimmer due to price. I did pick up the Kobalt hedge trimmer. And it's getting the job done. Maintain the blades and thell cut through some serious brush.
@davisonthomas4697
2 жыл бұрын
Any faults on the Kobalt? I am thinking about getting it. Why do you think the Milwaukie is better?
If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's red, WORK TILL ITS DEAD! thanks for helping green light my next milwaukee purchase, the S.O can't deny this video evidence!
So... after two years. Whatcha think about it? About to make the decision and am really hoping you are still happy with that trimmer.
still worth noting that the big battery has more power
You convinced me to get one 👍🏽
I have the same hs 45. I love em. Fan Frickin tastic hedge trimmer those stihls.
So can the Milwaukee last enough to do a entire house? Can they hold up to heavy commercial use? Is the cut as nice as stihl? I like the hs 56-c. The hs 45 is nice but I've gone threw a bunch of um. 169$ is much better then $300+. I'm just looking for a professionals opinion. Thanks!
Thanks much. I think you just sold me on them. I haven't been asked to trim a hedge yet but can see it coming . Got and hedge trimming , instructional videos to recommend ? I think I get the jest just by watching but if you have any pointers I'm all ears , err well , eyes in this case ! LOL.. Thanks !
Your trimming gives me anxiety slow down 😂
hey keith, can u show how it cuts pampas grass when you get the chance?
Nice review
So will it cut a three-quarter inch branch or branches?
Nice video quick question how do you get equipment companies to send you equipment to test out?
@elvalle89
5 жыл бұрын
Give them a reason to. Keith has enough subscribers and viewers that they think other pros and home owners will go with his opinion and buy. All comes down to $$$
If only they made a mower then I could have one charger to rule them all.
Great work with the trimmer, but will it hold up in the lawn business
As with most tools that cut, a sharp blade is most important. Gas or batt.
the 9.0ah battery outputs more power than the 5.0, you should test it with a 9.0 high demand one and not a regular one
@emmasalgado7877

That's is a 9.0

My Stihl hs45 is the best trimmers I have ever owned. Kirk
what would you charge for that full property?
Since when do you wear gloves? Haha one handed .Great video!
Milaukee should send me a pair and I'll put them through a real test. looks like they would be fine for stuff that is regularly maintained.
electric is the future
hey keith I've been doing landscaping for 5 years about now I got my license and I've been going out every week with flyers and it's paying off I'm getting enormous jobs for at least me and what I'm used to but I just got a big job and in the clients back yard she wants to extend it but she has so much brush and wants it removed should I charge hourly for the brush or should I give her a set price for the area cut its not enormous probably 30 feet by 30 and the brush is about 2 to 3 inches high ?

I'm redoing the clients entire yard but this is the only thing I'm worried about with undercarriage
Got the big battery and wont last only for around 2 hours kind of bad
What I have found with most makes of battery hedge the trimmers at the moment they seem to not like more thicker branches he only tested on basic stuff if your a landscaper needs to be tested on all types of hedges I do like the channel though

+Art ocha it will literally saw through a tree if you take long enough. They seem just as strong as the gas powered trimmers
Isn't sending you free tools part of payment? Quid pro quo, LOL. My Milwaukee M18 9.0 battery received with just one bar, they don't fully charge it up for some storage longevity reason. The Kobalt 80V trimmer is pretty good as well, will last a long time with one charge. They don't charge up the Kobalt battery either, 2 bars.
Link for the beat please?
dat gangsta music bro
just push the battery button man
I hope Milwaukee makes a bike handle brush cutter
AWE AWE AWE AWESOME. THE GOLDEN CHILD KEITH KALFAS.
You should try them on some overgrown bushes and really push them. Second how much are those batteries I’m guessing close to the cost of the tool so are you really going to send 3-4 batteries out on a job site. I’m guessing that’s about $800 in batteries when that gas trimmer only cost about $400 and ur guys will have there hands on it the majority of the time there working. I know what people will say but it is really easy to set down batteries and loose them especially working outside

you and Trey Gowdy have the same hairstyle(that's a good thing, because he kicks ass).
Why is the cameraman standing on a basketball?
Trust me; your customers will like the quietness over the gas powered stuff....
stepping it up dude?
The larger battery, the one you didnt use, is a high output battery. That's the reason the one at the expo felt more powerful. It was.
Why do they send u stuff...did u sign up with them

its a contractor thing. i used to get offered stuff too. local reps and others get your company name/etc or they hear you asking about a certain product
That 5.0 battery was full.... you can see it in the video....
I cringed so hard right before you ALMOST put you're hands on the blade. But none the less they look like they work great Keith. You can always buy a few extra batt and a 2nd chargers
Use the high demand battery it came with.... more current flow= MORE POWER!
PROBALY TRUE REPLACING GAS, BUT YOU SHOULD TRY HONDA GAS NEXT.
Hey, I got a milwaukee chainsaw but they never sent me a knife. Dammit
Didn’t really cutbanything
Don't run that too much without gettin the cover/filter on. Specially if there low hours.
Would I swap this for my HS45 or my 122HD60? NO! As for my HS81R'S & 522HDR75X, No way in hell!!
How you getting on with your girly hedge trimmer. Too slow for me
They believe in you
it doesn't make enough noise! lol I think Id loose business you'd do a hedge trimming job and the neighbors would never even know you were there! haha I mean think how many times a neighbor comes out and says hey when you get done here can you do this or that and how much?....ok let's go ahead

If your title says "vs," then we would expect some comparisons between the two.
He's a landscaper in clean ass office clothes! Hahahahah 🤣🤣
fuel tank looks dark.... looks a couple years old.. sounds good. I seen them in HD.. will it cut thru a 1 inch branch?? agree smelling like a piece of shit .. not good
No offence-if you have to pull on your gas equipment 15x-it is not being looked after correctly...my 4-stroke mowers are 1-2 pulls and 2-stroke equipment is usually 3-4 when cold. Takes only a minute to fill a take and get back on task...you would need many batteries to last a day then charge them overnight for the next day-for my purpose-gas is more practical
Get the dewalt trimmer its lighter and better
