Hi Kim, I couldn't agree more. I always say that everyone needs a hobby, something that breaks you away, clears your head. Photography is my break from reality. Nothing beats sitting somewhere unusual, watching the sun going down, with nothing to distract your mind. Congrats on your growing channel and well done with your images.

Scotland should be paying you to show those of us who haven't been there how beautiful the country is and promoting its stunning scenery. I see improvement in your videos and don't ever say your photos aren't the best, they are capturing the beauty you see and that is something others would not see without your vision and effort. Love the shots you posted, would I or someone else framed them a little differently or exposed slightly different? Who cares that's what makes you and your art unique, and you have the courage to put it out there for everyone to see, great job! Keep shooting, keep making videos and keep enjoying life!

I’d be very happy with any of those photographs Kim. I like the way you share your thought process on the vid. That is probably why you get so many views. You’re not ‘instructing’ viewers, your just commenting on your thoughts which is great.

This looks like a sensational location Kim, and you had some gorgeous light! It reminds me of a place close to my home where I haven't yet done a landscape vlog, so you've given me an idea for a future video. The peace and calm felt very familiar. I love the style you have for your videos, I know it wasn;t your intention to vlog about landscapes but you might be on to something! :)

I admit it was the title of your video "Landscape Photography" that made me start watching you. But it was your attitude to all things natural that has made me stay, far too few people even notice the world around them never mind care about it. The fact that you live in such a beautiful part of the world is definitely an added bonus. Your passion shines through in all your videos with is a wonderful thing to watch, as it gives hope for the future and you being a younger person only adds to that hope. Thank you for your videos, I always enjoy them and they never fail to entertain and inform and I'm sure your channel is going to grow and grow. Some great shots too, your photography is much better than you give yourself credit for.

Kim Grant he is a great landscape photographer indeed. So its hard to be as good as he is. But the style especially of your videos is similar. Even if the photography is not on the same level i think your photos are very nice.

Great vlogs and pictures. It is great to see different locations in Scotland.

Just wanted to say thanks for being inspirational. Having had a lovely holiday on Mull where I took some good (for me) images I returned home to the Cotswolds and have been unable to get motivated. You said in one vlog that people should just get out with their camera and do it. Stay within half an hour of home which for most of us will fit in with work and home. It is so obvious I should have seen it myself. Love the videos they are great, so too are the images. Thanks.

Hi ...thanks for the on location wonderful videos, just want to ask you when exposing do you expose for sky or land , i find it difficult when exposing for the sky , no matter how much i try to pull up for shadows cant get lightened

Hi Kim, my name is Kenneth and I'm from Chile. I just found your KZread channel and I think it is very good. I'm a wedding photographer, but I really like landscape photography, and I just bought a wide angle lense to start doing more landscape photography. Thank you Kim, as a new subscriber your energy is contagious now having watched a few of your videos I myself now dont go very far with out my camera whilst walking or hiking my local beaches here in Queensland. I have noticed on some of your photos you show your camera settings and I can say these have helped considerably in expanding my experiences and knowledge regarding my photos. One would of loved to of seen your settings for this video's photos as I was highly impressed with the original post photo and the markings on the wood not apparent in the video but came alive in the still photo with the character and a story in itself. Thank you for the inspiration.
