Landscape Photography Photo Challenge
In this round we present the finalists for the Natural Landscape Photography round of the Pangolin Photo Challenge. These images are of wildlife in their natural environment. We will be choosing a winner and announcing it on Sunday so make sure you are subscribed!

Both of the aerial images are stunning. Either of these for me!! Or the Polar bear on the edge of a crevasse - also magical
I'm up against some fabulous images in this landscape section, the Guanaco against the full moon Andean sky is the pick for me!

Very pleased to see I was one of the 5 Highly Commended, and up against some other brilliant finalists, congrats to the Winner, Helena Conradie.
The lone Rhino caught my eye. Then the one with the seal and penguins on the beach with the mountain in the background is a masterfully composed shot! Lastly the one with the 2 penguins on then left side the photo is also a classic shot. It would be interesting to see which camera and lens combinations were used in all the winning photos
The rhino with what I believe is Mt. Kenya in the background. Also, the elephants with the canyon walls are really making me want to go to Gonarezhou. Really, anywhere in Zimbabwe.
I really love the moose going into the river and the elephant silhouetted against the intense orange sunset.

They are all simply ethereal. The one that captures all elements of life and nature is the ELEPHANTS WALKING on soil bisecting water and mountains , moving harmoniously in peace together with bird life. A landscape that captures the elements of Mother Nature and life’s journey. A landscape with soul. ❤
The moose in Grand Tetons was initially my first choice, until I looked a bit closer at the King Penguin picture at the 4:25 mark. This appears to be South Georgia Island, probably Salisbury Plain. The depth of this shot, with the pair of penguins in the left foreground, mountain peaks in the distance, and vast expanse in between containing multiple thousand penguins truly captures the epic feeling of being in this place.
It's tough to choose. The images that stood out to me are the elephant at sunset, the arial view of flamingos (first one at 3:00), the lone penguin looking like it's taking off from the glacier, and the oryx in the desert.
Wow, so many…! My favorite is the pano of the 5 oryxes dappled by sunlight with rain coming down
Wow - so happy to get one in this section. The images mine is up against are outstanding and no way I will win. But to be included is a huge reflection on the photo guides and the Chobe River. Good luck to all.

Yes they do...hard round to judge!
There are 5-7 outstanding photos and several close runner ups that I would not be able to choose between.

The judges are having a tough time!
I think they are all wonderful but if I had to choose I’d say (1) the three birds flying in the top right of the picture with the burnt orange backdrop, (2) the bird on its own in the snow/ice or (3) the polar bear on its own in snow/ice.
They are all stunning and move me deeply.

The moose is fantastic.
Great images.
1) Ist photo of flamingos flying over an estuary. 2) Leopard leaping to another branch in the tree landscape.
I recognize the tree with the courting lions in the Maisa Mara. She was not quite ready for him.
