LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY in ICELAND - Episode 22 - HVERFJALL
I can now finally continue my series of Landscape Photography guide videos from Iceland. Shot in gorgeous and sharp 4K I'll show you some of the most epic must see locations Iceland has to offer! In this episode we'll visit the massive volcano crater Hverfjall next to Lake Myvatn in north-eastern Iceland. Here I'll show some of my most epic drone footage ever and with this intro I hope to hook you for the rest of the series. Beside doing presentations of the different locations I'll continue with the landscape photography vlog and educational content.

Always about the place and the photography, never about Mads Peter Iversen (despite a very engaging personality and very good video work and great photography) - rapidly becoming my favourite KZread photography vlog for that reason.

An absolutely amazing first episode of Iceland. The drone opening sequence is fantastic. I hardly can't wait to see the following episodes.
I normally don't comment on KZread videos but I really appreciate the content you are putting out. For me and many other aspiring photographers this is pure gold. Thank you for putting in the time and effort of making these videos!
I went to Iceland just over a month ago and this was a definite highlight. One of the most amazing places i have ever been to.

I've been saving my money to get to Iceland and trying to schedule it so that you will be my tour leader! I love your videos: so full of information without all the blah blah blah that precede the actual "meat" of the videos done by other YTers more interested in listening to themselves talk than in benefiting the viewer.

Stellar work Mads! Can't wait to see more from your trip. Cheers!
Great stuff as usual Mads. Especially liked the drone footage. Loved the 'talking to drone' at around 14 mins. Kept you on the third as it circled you, fab!!
Mads, What fantastic work you’ve done! I have recently been to Iceland and even though I didn’t get see all of the perspectives you’ve shown, I love seeing your work so I can aim to go to more places next time I visit. I’ve only just started watching your stuff and binged all the earlier Iceland now starting phase two. Well done!
Maps you do always in your Videos a very good Job. I'm in pleasure to see your newest video.
Just wondering why you only have 15k subs when you create excellent videos, you’re genius that’s why I click the subs button the first time I watched your video.

Hell yeah there is! :D I hope to show you some amazing locations which is hardly photographed at all. The main problem is there're so many locations to choose from and most people only go to the most popular ones. The public material from the highlands are very, very limited but during August and September, it's crammed with the most amazing nature and photo opportunities!
Absolutly A M A Z I N G intro ! Who said they have to be short, no longer than 15 sec....😂

Hehe thanks! And yes I agree - if Peter Jackson can make an 11 hour epic... I guess I can handle 16 minutes ;)
hey hey! Sorry was away from civilisation so comment comes a bit late. You are definitely raising the bar with regards to video. Gratz for the intro especially, it is in many ways 'haute voltige' ;) And the mixture of travel / educational content is a great novelty. Given how many places you covered in the first run in Iceland, I can't wait to see what you will cover in this serie!
I would say your opening sequence didnt just turnout out ok Mads, it turned out to be mind blowing. I feel like you're taking us back to a spiritual home, to continue the journey of seeing a country that simply holds so much natural beauty that when you see it in your images, the feeling of emotion and well being is in such abundance. Thank you Mads and already the anticipation of more to come is exciting

Hi Mads. Just wanted to drop a line and say that this was a very well put together film. I'm fairly sure this is my first video I've watched from you, and I'm certainly glad I gave it a go. I've visited Iceland as a youngster, and ever since then I've wanted to take the landscape photographers pilgrimage properly. Having visited at the peak of summer HVERFJALL is impossible to get scale without a drone, such a difference to other seasons - we felt like we were on Mars as we walked up the slope to the crater rim. I found some interesting opportunities at Hverir and the Myvatn Nature Baths would offer great opportunity for Northern Lights as well.
Love in it !
