I totally thought this video was only 2 minutes long - I looked down and it was over 10..I was so engrossed that I didn’t realize 10 minutes had already passed. Talk about being captivated!!

I felt the same way until it was over then I NEEDED more instantly lol

A year ago, a friend of mine gave up everything here, bought a house in Francois and has been living there since. It takes a lot of guts to move from a big city to a town which has fewer residents than my own block. She loves it and your film makes it feel as magical as she describes it. Looking forward to the next film!

Seriously, that village. So quaint and cute. This series is so good.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Ida Courtney’s house , and also was on her husband’s boat , the Courtney Pride . We were treating a lighthouse down on an island , and were treated to absolute hospitality by them and their family . One of the nicest places I’ve ever been .

Newfoundland is an out of the world place. The roads, the people, the nature. I sure hope you guys flew by Gros Morne.

That town nestled in the beautiful mountains is like opening an unexpected present when you see it first time.. WOW 🤩 just WOW! 😍

This was no vlog, this is a LEGIT Film, movie, on its own. I was so much in it, felt it. Extremely well made. I love every minute of this entire journey and you guys are great storyteller and in this episode, I feel it is the best so far. Visually and narration...

i love this series. the cinematography is honestly mesmerizing

That opening shot was by far best I have seen. Better than Sam Kolder. Plus seeing Becki getting emotional shows this means so much to her and Chris. This is by far best compare to any TV or online series. Just simple, raw emotions and genuine. Love it guys. ❤️❤️

Small towns have their own charm that I just love. Life is so much different. Slower and perhaps more intentional and in the moment. I love it. So different from this SoCal life 😅

Such a brilliant episode. Felt the hospitality and warmth of the locals at François. Then got all excited when I saw "the next chapter" with you guys flying over a pod of whales. Wow!!!!

This series is great. Every time the video comes to an end, I want more.

0:33 - 1:40 I wanna cry seeing these places. 1:33 and imagine going there, seeing that "tunnel" view towards the far sight, during dusk and dawn. crying in pieces.

my mother was a Durnford from Francois. (back in the 1950s) I was there twice (1994 and 2013) what a magical place. Thank you for your video.

This is so beautiful. The colors, the story, the people, the adventure.. Also, I think that everyone should experience a strong connection with nature when growing up as a kid. I love all the little picturesque fishing villages like François in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI! Spent a few family vacations there. Beautiful scenery and the people there were even more beautiful. I have tons of slides from those trips mostly on Ektachrome and Fujichrome 400. I am going to have to dig them out and scan them. What a wonderful video!

Got my coffee and popcorn ready. Time to sit back and enjoy!

Great series! I was just watching another KZread channel called Sailing Uma and they had sailed to François and were talking about how the town is only accessible by boat and helicopter. Cut to a clip of a black R44 landing on the pad, I noticed the tail number and said hey thats Becki and Chris! Sailing Uma [Step 189] at the 11:13 mark!

Wow. This series is phenomenal. I’ve been purposely waiting to get to my house to watch the episodes, so I can watch them on my living room flatscreen! The cinematography is too beautiful to waste watching on my phone! Also, the drone footage turned out great!

Although I couldn't live there - man I'm speechless. I'm touched deeply by the beauty of this remote world. I wish I could be there and sit on top of the cliffs an just breath the fresh air and do nothing else for a while. This is getting better at every episode. And that scares me. At the end I have to leave switzerland and move to Newfoundland - or let's say towards Newfoundland :-)

I enjoy nearly everything you two do and post, but I've got to say, I don't think I've enjoyed anything else as much as I'm enjoying this adventure you have both been on. Congratulations on a fantastic series. I can't wait until the next episode. A million of these 👏👏👏😊🙏
