Do you remember if the head unit was still flashing light out of the optical port? I have the same symptoms but the optical output is still flashing. everything else totally dead (head unit, screen, underseat dvd rom, rear entertainment etc)

The head unit controls everything on the MOST system. It’s likely your radio is indeed dead. The IR may work, but other parts of the radio may have failed. If you want me to pull my radio to check, LMK. Clearly I can disassemble this vehicle in like two minutes.

My radio and ac don't come on sometimes, and no start to. Thealarm system starts blinking

Suspicious. Something on the MOST system is failing intermittently perhaps.
