Bet it's got the Ford derived 2.2 diesel engine that appeared on the first Disco Sports. Much more reliable than the early Ingenium engined diesels that followed soon after.

Thanks for watching and yes that's because Tata, the owner of land rover have the right to buy Ford engines up until 2019, land rover used to be owned by Ford from 2000 till 2005, Tata bought it in 2008.

Would the battery replacement solve start/stop issues, I have the exact same model ( and colour) start stop only worked for about 1 week after buying from main dealer last year?

My stop/start also stopped over winter (same car). I found that the AGM battery voltage is a bit low (around 12.8) and the alternator doesn't float it high enough for the stop/start to function. Over winter I put a Victron smart charger on the battery and stop/start works every time so I suspect its a minimum voltage setting to work. I find stop/start annoying so it didn't worry me!

@@darrensymonds4006 Yes it certainly could. But there are other factors that could also disable start/stop functionality. e.g. Owner's Manual/iGuide states: "The following conditions will prevent an automatic engine stop: An automatic transmission shift paddle has been used to select a gear. The external temperature is less than approximately 0°C (32°F). The external temperature is more than approximately 40°C (104°F). The engine has not reached operating temperature. The driver’s seat belt is not fastened. The climate control system demand requires the engine to be running (for example, in Defrost mode). The battery charge is low. The bonnet is opened. Following a period of repeated vehicle acceleration. Intelligent stop/start is deactivated."

What memory saver do you use and how do you use it? Future clip?

Thanks for watching. I'll make a video showing the memory saver. It plugs into the OBD socket.
